Good Form Preview - Tuesday Night @ Bendigo

The Game Plan for Bendigo – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)

Best Bet ($35 win)

Uroc Mman (Race 5 No.4) $3

I love the speed and tenacity this guy showed to find the front last time he showed a good turn of foot from the top to sprint clear of his rivals and the form around Lights And Music, which ran second, is pretty strong. Most importantly he produced a 27.7sec last quarter in that race and he should enjoy and even softer lead tonight so good luck to his rivals catching him today.

The Octagon (Race 8 No.10) $3.60

I liked the way this fella was shaping up in NZ before crossing the ditch, he wasn’t having a lot of luck there but was still performing admirably and his three runs in Victoria have all shown promise. His last start second behind My Zach Bromac when leading is terrific form for this and he held his other rivals so even from the back row I think he can outclass them tonight.

Best Value ($15 win)

The Major League (Race 4 No.3) $8

There is no doubting Magnificent Art (6) has class on his side but at the value I’m finding it hard to go past The Major League. While he has his fair share of speed, he isn’t brilliantly away so I’m not sure he will be first to the pegs however his effort to take ground off Ideal Majority last time in a 27.8sec last quarter was really solid and at his absolute best he could blow them out. He is probably more a place prospect but in a small field with only two dividends we will just have a small win investment and hope he can lob.

Best Roughie ($5 win x $20 place)

Marios Dream (Race 1 No.4) $51

This may be the hail mary of the week but I’m convinced this girl is going better than her form reads. She began badly last time but made OK ground to be beaten just 20 metres by some really handy trotters in Djasker and Salute The Wind and prior to that she stepped to lead but broke as he was moving up. Just four starts back she almost knocked off Bella Cheval with an encouraging second so while we will be holding our breath at the start, if she finds the peg and enjoys a soft run, she can run into a place for sure.

The Money Race ($40 worth of Flexi Trifectas)

Race 7

Highview Conall (6) and Asoka (7) have been mixing it in good metropolitan class races and look the class so we will bank on them to run somewhere in the trifecta split by the key dangers in Hes Magic Red (1), Discrimination (3), Born Again Sassy (8) and Fiery Achiever (10).
