After a lean weekend it was nice to hit the scoreboard pretty hard @ Kilmore yesterday afternoon and I’m just hoping we can maintain the rage up in the Sunraysia tonight. It’s a very tricky meeting made somehow more difficult by the utter domination Shayne Cramp is likely to have over the card but if we stick with Mildura’s leading trainer throughout most of the eight race programme we should not go too far wrong at all.

Best Bets/ Formula 3 ($60 gets 15 units)

Glen Alpine Drive (Race 3 no. 3) $1.30

Should lead and prove a mile too good for what looks a small and pretty moderate field.

Soho Jagger (Race 4 no. 6) $2.20

Reece Moore takes the steer here due to his concession claim and all he’ll need to do is get busy at the start for this bloke to cross his rivals and secure the lead. If that part of the equation falls into place he should prove too good.

Philtra Phella (Race 5 no. 2) $1.90

This guy has looked very good since joining Shayne Cramp and should continue his charge through the grades even if he has to sit parked in transit.

Hargrave (Race 6 no. 6) $1.50

This bloke was always going to win a few races up north and he should continue doing that tonight.

As mentioned above I’ve got Soho Jagger (6) leading and winning with his stablemate Squiggymaguire (5) likely to join him on the podium.

Race 5

Philtra Phella (2) looks a good thing for mine in this race and whoever secures the early lead out of Hayabusa Flyer (1) and Superstar Express (5) is in the box seat for silver medal honours.

2/ 1,5/ 4,6. $10 gets 250%

Race 7

Expect some more Shayne Cramp-style domination here although separating his tri of runners is a tougher task.
