This trotter showed terrific mid-race speed to burn to the front when taking on the likes of Illawong Armstrong in a heat of the Vicbred Super Series and but for breaking at the top of the straight, would likely have run second to an outstanding young squaregaiter. He has obvious ability and if he stays in gait, he should simply be winning.

Spirit Of Miranda (Race 3 No.7) $14

This poor draw is no spoil for this girl but I’ve been pretty taken by a couple of her runs recently. She ran second to Licinia in a Home Grown Classic heat four runs ago with a terrific finish and recaptured that form last time with a solid second behind the promising Carmens Spirit. If things go her way she will be right in the finish at nice odds.

Blended Family (Race 5 No.8) $10

Although he galloped from his mark last time, he did get down pretty quickly and was blistering when he saw a gap at the top of the straight. This race isn’t a lot harder and he should be ready to rip fourth up so in an even race I think he is almost the horse to beat at double figure odds.

The Money Race

Race 6 ($40 worth of Flexi Trifectas)

Celebrity Lass (3) only just got the job done last time but she drops back to C0 grade for the mares and looks the dominating influence here. If she does find the top early and Beachyouthere (1) can hold her back then don’t be surprised to see that mare run a much improved race at odds. Outside of that pair Solace (4) and What A Sheila (5) look the next best.
