Good Form Preview - Friday Night @ HQ

The Game Plan for Melton – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)

Despite the fact that this is a non-metropolitan meeting @ Vic harness HQ there are some significant opportunities to have a punt & win. My love of heat-into-final affairs is very well known and I reckon of we play hard through the first half of tonight’s card, which includes three finals, we should set ourselves up for a decent crack at the Quad.

Best Bets/ Formula 3 ($90 gets 30 units)
The Gingerbreadman (Race 1 no. 10) $2.50
This bloke is ablaze @ the minute and while he does face some stern opposition here, particularly from untapped filly Sandy Kay (11) I think his versatility and turn of foot will prove a bit too much for his rivals here tonight.

Quite A Moment (Race 3 no. 10) $1.50
She is the stone cold stinking moral of the night. Not only is she a Breeders Crown winner, but she was absolutely arrogant winning the stronger of two heats this series so only an error or act of God could see her rolled in this.

Earth Angel (Race 4 no. 6) $2.60
Like so many of David Aiken’s team, this mare has developed from handy but unspectacular performer to potential rising star this preparation. Her biggest threat in this race was Dieing Secret but now that girl’s been scratched I think she’ll be too good.

Best Value ($10 x $30)
Wills Son (Race 2 no. 1) $9
The key to this bet is my premise that he’ll get a soft run in behind likely leader Vote Pedro (2) here and may be able to out-sprint that guy in the lane. There’s little doubt that Burninupthestarzzz (10) and Valley Of Diamonds (12) are the class runners here but both are front-of-the-field horses who may be worth risking from their second line draws.

The Money Races

Race 1
As mentioned above, this looks a two-horse match-race between The Gingerbreadman (10) and Sandy Kay (11) with the former horse favoured to be a shade too strong. If those two both feature on the podium we SHOULD get one of the skinny Tricks outline below.

10/ 11/ 1,5,8,9. $40 gets 1000%
10/ 1,5,8,9/ 11. $10 gets 250%
11/ 10/ 1,5,8,9. $10 gets 250%

Race 3
This isn’t so much a two-horse race as a case of Quite A Moment (10) being a clear top tip and Patch Pepperell (9) being an almost-as-clear second elect. One again, if the two big guns both feature on the podium we should get a result, hopefully with something at decent odds joining them there.

10/ 9/ 1,2,4,5,6,11. $48 gets 800%
10/ 1,2,4,5,6,11/ 9. $12 gets 200%

The Quads (x4 for $150)
6/ 1,4/ 2,3,10,11,13/ 1,2,3,7,10,11. $70 gets 116.67%
6/ 3,5,6/ 2,3,10,11,13/ 1,2,3,7,10,11. $45 gets 50%
7/ 1,4/ 2,3,10,11,13/ 1,2,3,7,10,11. $20 gets 33.33%
7/ 3,5,6/ 2,3,10,11,13/ 1,2,3,7,10,11. $15 gets 16.67%

Good Form Preview - Thursday Night @ Ararat

The Game Plan for Ararat – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
Best Bet ($40 win)
Our Uptown Girl (Race 5 No.8) $3
This girls run on Terang Cup night had to be seen to be believed. She worked to the breeze when they ran very quick early sections and then she simply out toughed them in the lane. Her form prior to that was consistent but she looks to have gone to a new level and given she is the only horse drawn the second row, if there is a lack of speed early, look for her to take off and put herself in the race. I’d be surprised if we get the $3 in today’s Herald Sun but that said, she should be winning again tonight.

Best Roughie ($5 win x $20 place)
Sunnyandcher (Race 2 No.12) $11
There is no avoiding the fact that RUMBUSTIOUS (5) is in terrific form and HACKASHAQ (4) was dominant last time but we are looking for value here and we might have found it with SUNNYANDCHER (12) she has been competing admirably in better races than this and even from the 30-metre mark, she can easily work her way into the race and at least fill a hole, if not win given the right breaks.

The Money Race ($50 flexi trifectas)
Race 4
From a punting point of view this looks an outstanding race to have a lash at. OURCROWNINN (2) is first up without a trial but is terribly consistent and his form last preparation, albeit in similar grade, has stood up pretty well and should hold him in good stead for tonight. There are two clear dangers in the enigmatic BOYZ TORQUE (4) and ELECTRIC OLLIE (6) however VALENTINO RUSTLER (3) could cos a boilover at his best and must be respected in saver trifecta’s.

2/4,6/4,6 $30 gets 1500%
2/4,6/3. $10 gets 500%
2/3/4,6. $10 gets 500%

Quaddies (x4)
2/8/2,6/6,9. $20 gets 500%
2/8/3,4,5,8,9,11/6,9. $18 gets 150%
2/1,2,4/2,6/6,9. $12 gets 100%
2/1,2,4/3,4,5,8,9,11/6,9. $12 gets 33.33%
4,6/8/2,6/6,9. $12 gets 125%
4,6/8/3,4,5,8,9,11/6,9. $12 gets 50%
4,6/1,2,4/2,6/6,9. $12 gets 50%
4,6/1,2,4/3,4,5,8,9,11/6,9. $12 gets 16.66%

Good Form Preview - Thursday @ Kilmore

The Game Plan for Kilmore – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
We’re off to central Victoria today for a nice little 8 race program. We should be able to isolate one or two races early to try and land a result through our best bet and money race before we play a little wider in the last legs of the Quaddie and try to jag a couple of value runners who are likely to go around over their true odds.

Best Bet ($50 win)
Tiavons Dream (Race 3 No.7) $4
We will kick it off in race 3 with a last-start Breeders Crown consolation winner admittedly that was back in August but this guy comes to the races today off the back of a Tabcorp Park trial just over two weeks ago. He finished a comfortable 10-metre second there in what was a slow mile rate but quick last quarter (28.93secs). He was mixing it with the likes of Daenerys Targaryen and Im Stately last preparation so if he returns to anywhere near his best he will be hard to beat.

Best Value ($10 win x $20 place)
Bronze Destiny (Race 7 No.12) $4.40
This fella may be having his first try at the tapes in well over a year but his two runs from the stand yielded a win and a third in good company. He is well and truly handicapped up to his form from the 20-metre backmark today but three runs in have produced a fourth and two narrow seconds in better class than this. He must face some seasoned stand start pacers and it’s only over 2150 metres but his talent will carry him a long way.

The Muse (Race 8 No.8) $4
This mare has shown plenty of ability in her six starts but is yet to break through for a win. In saying that she seems to race best along the pegline and if the polemarker HENS PARTY (1) can hold the top, or even if she is crossed and THE MUSE (8) ends up three back on the pegs, watch for a strong turn of foot late.

The Money Race ($50 flexi trifectas)
Race 4
We see the Australian debut of LOOKSMACHNIFICIENT (8) here for the Sugars camp and a win in New Zealand followed by a devastating turn of foot at the Melton trials suggests he could quickly work through his classes. In saying that he is not necessarily a good thing given there are some handy types in the race and he could land an awkward position in running if JAY DEE ZED (1) decides to hand up. For that reason I’m going to play two trifectas to try and turn a profit from the race.

Boxed 1,2,8 $30 gets 500%
1,2,8/1,2,8/3,4,6,9. $20 gets 83.33%

Quaddies (x4)
1,2,8/6,7,8,9/3/12. $24 gets 200%
1,2,8/6,7,8,9/1,4,5,6,7,9/12. $24 gets 33.33%
1,2,8/6,7,8,9/3/2,7,8,9,11. $20 gets 33.33%
1,2,8/6,7,8,9/1,4,5,6,7,9/2,7,8,9,11. $32 gets 8.88%

Good Form Preview - Monday @ Yarra Valley

The Game Plan for Yarra Valley – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
The good news is that Good Form followers should be up a little over $1000 since last Wednesday, the bad news is that today’s programme is pretty bloody tough! Having said that, Yarra Valley is one of my most profitable tracks and if we can jag the Quaddie here and snare at least one of our two Money Races we should make a profit nonetheless.

Best Value ($30 Win)
Outrageous El (Race 4 no. 5) $4.50
This guy was first up from New Zealand when getting little luck at all last Sunday at Charlton. He meets a handy but not totally outstanding field here and if he’s going places he’ll take this out today.

The Money Races
Race 2
United Legacy (7) will win this if he’s ready to roll but it’s a skinny race, the kind that are ideal for exotic punting, and if he is not at his top either Lots More Art (1) or Outer Join (5) should win.

7/ 1,5/ 1,2,3,5,8. $56 gets 700%
1/ 5,7/ 1,2,3,5,8. $28 gets 350%
5/ 1,7/ 1,2,3,5,8. $16 gets 200%

Race 6
Tabanan (2) looks an absolute moral for mine in this and if he finds the lead early on and Amazing Milly (1) gets the gun run in behind we should get a result from the Tricks outlined below.

2/ 1/ 4,5,8. $60 gets 2000%
2/ 1/ 3,6,9,10,11. $25 gets 500%
2/ 4,5,8/ 1. $15 gets 500%

Good Form Peview - Friday @ HQ

The Game Plan for Tabcorp Park – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
The good news is that it’s been a profitable past couple of days. In fact we’re up $422 since Wednesday so my plan is to re-invest all that and a little bit more on our major Metropolitan meeting of the week! More than anything, tonight is a fun card for punting so while we may not make our fortune we will get to be involved in seven of the 10 races and hopefully make some sort of profit w/ the Game Plan outlined below.

Best Bet ($50 Win)
Vox Populi (Race 1 no. 13) $1.90
Anybody who religiously follows the Trots would have seen this bloke produce a Herculean performance when missing the start hopelessly last Saturday night at Ballarat and still rallying late to jag second place. We can sometimes overrate how good those kinds of runs are but his effort was out of this world and he’ll win here if he does everything right.

Best Value ($15 Each Way)
Bon Jovi (Race 4 no. 5) $7.50
This is a pretty speculative investment because the only way this bloke can win is if he finds the front. Fortunately, I think there’s a great chance that will happen, even with a little speed drawn inside him, and if he does lob the top the short course trip and lack of obvious pressure will make him a massive winning hope.

Best Roughie ($5 x $15)
Shes An Image (Race 3 no. 3) $10
This is another speculative investment. Simply put, this mare should have the early speed to find the pegs first if Chris Lang really wants to and from there she can hand up to any horse she likes. It’s also worth noting that she ripped out the fastest final half in last week’s E B Cochran Cup so the fact that she was beaten so far may not mean as much as you may originally have thought.

The Money Races
Race 2
This is a very unusual race as virtually no horses off the front line have much exposed gate speed so what happens early is something of a mystery but that doesn’t change the fact that Fon Design (2), Call Me Bond (6) and The Gingerbreadman (12) are your key winning hopes and Live In Doubt (10) looks the next best horse.

2,6,12/ 2,6,10,12/ 2,6,10,12. $23 gets 127.78%
2,6,12/ 2,6,10,12/ 3,9,13. $27 gets 100%

Race 6
Two heats for this final were run last Saturday night and I’m leaning very heavily to the qualifier won by Cold Major (4) as the key form race for tonight. To that end I’m expecting Cold Major (4) to lead and win here with his only serious threat coming from the horse who finished second to him last week, Waltzing With Cullen (6).

4/ 6/ 1,5,7,11. $20 gets 500%
4/ 1,5,7,11/ 6. $15 gets 366.67%
6/ 4/ 1,5,7,11. $10 gets 250%
6/ 1,5,7,11/ 4. $5 gets 125%

Race 10
Mister Grizzly (5) will lead here, Saab Quality (7) will sit parked and That’s Mister Ali (6) will sit off that pair and come with one big run. All things being equal they will comprise the Trifecta btu racing is racing so we’ll also have a saver.

5,6,7 Boxed. $30 gets 500%
5,6,7/ 5,6,7/ 2,4,8. $20 gets 111.11%

The Quads (x3 for $200)
1,3,5,9/ 5,7,9,11/ 4,6/ 1,10. $62 gets 96.88%
1,2,3,5,7,9/ 5,7,9,11/ 4,6/ 1,2,10. $48 gets 33.33%
Field/ 5,7,9,11/ 4,5,6,7,11/ 1,2,5,9,10. $90 gets 10%

Tabcorp Park Trainer Talk – Adam Kelly
Best Chance
Fon Design (Race 2 no.2) $3.50
“I thought she was pretty good first up and she should be fitter for that run. She mixed it with some pretty good two-year-old’s last season and I expect her to return to a similar level this time around.
“She does get off the gate pretty good so I’d be hoping she can lead and I’d say there’s no reason for her not to hold it tonight."

Others
Lite Jagermeister (Race 4 no.3) $3.50
“I think she is probably going to need the run a little bit tonight, even with the trial under her belt, when you are in a class of race like this they can sometimes be found out at the end of the race.

“Having said that she did race through her classes last time in and I can’t see any reason why she won’t measure up to Mares’ grade this time in."

Five Star Anvil (Race 7 no.10) $3.20
“His first two runs I’ve been pretty happy with but he is a horse that follows speed well so we will be hoping they go pretty quickly early because he has a nice sprint at the end of his races.

“He got a virus a little while ago which affected him but I think he is slowly getting back to his best so hopefully he isn’t far away."

Good Form Preview - Wednesday Night @ Mildura

The Game Plan for Mildura – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
In many ways, Mildura is a different world, so you do have to take a slightly different approach. Fortunately for us there look to be two Money Races I’d be gobsmacked to lose and the Quad looks a good way to make some serious folding - so long as Thats Rite does the right thing for us in the opening leg!!

The Money Races
Race 1
This is a beaut betting race. Basically, there are three runners who have a stack on their rivals and we have some real chance of getting likely favourite Triple Trent (8) rolled.

5,6,8/ 5,6,8/ 5,6,7,8. $60 gets 500%

Race 6
Elliot Bromac (6) was beaten at short odds last start but he should bully his way to the lead from the wide front line draw here so forgive him that loss, while Sutter Man (9)is first up for Shayne Cramp and has a load of talent. They should dominate for sure and if we throw a few others in for the placings a profit should be ours.

6,9/ 6,9/ 2,4,8,10. $48 gets 600%
6,9/ 2,4,8,10/ 6,9. $12 gets 150%

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times; Shepparton in my favourite and most profitable track on which to punt. Having said that, today’s programme is by no means easy and we’ll need a little bit of luck to make the big breakthrough we’ve been waiting for. A fair bit of pressure will go on Miz Lulabell Lombo in our first Money Race, but if she can win & Hexham Heartbeat runs top two in the fourth the hope is that the Quad will just be icing on the cake.

The Money Races
Race 2
Miz Lulabell Lombo (2) is a class above this lot at her bets and if she finds the lead here, peg domination should ensue.

2/ 1,8/ 1,8/ Field. $40 gets 500%
2/ 1,8/ Field/ 1,8. $10 gets 125%

Race 4
Hexham Heartbeat (5) is a touch vulnerable from the draw here but she’s a tough customer who should finish second even if she doesn’t win. There are three key hopes to share the podium with her but we’re playing a little conservatively as it is a more open race than many might believe.

5/ 1,4,6/ 1,4,6. $24 gets 400%
5/ 1,4,6/ 2,3,8. $13.50 gets 150%
1,4,6/ 5/ 1,4,6. $12.50 gets 208.33%

Best Roughie ($10 x $15)
Bryce Cooper (Race 5 no. 4) $12
I’m not getting over excited here because plenty of things will have to go right for this bloke to get the chocolates but it has to be said that as a 3-time winner he’s fared pretty well in this PBD affair and if Sketch Me (2) is open to handing him the early lead then he’ll give you a run at pretty juicy odds.

The Quads (x4 for $125)
5/ 2,4,8,10,11,12,13/ 1,2,6,9/ 1. $28 gets 100%
1,4,6/ 2,4,8,10,11,12,13/ 1,2,6,9/ 1. $28 gets 33.33%
5/ 2,4,8,10,11,12,13/ 1,2,6,9/ 2,5,8. $42 gets 50%
1,4,6/ 2,4,8,10,11,12,13/ 1,2,6,9/ 2,5,8. $27 gets 10.71%

Good Form Preview - Tuesday @ Cranbourne

The Game Plan for Cranbourne – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Cranbourne does have the capacity to produce some pretty predictable results if the conditions are right and they certainly seem that way tonight. Small fields with few obvious enforcers engaged should make for some slowly run races where the class horses will dominate proceedings. I could probably have gotten more cavalier but I’ve just isolated three Best Bets at short odds while also attacking 1 Money Race and 3 pretty dear Quads.

Best Bets/All-Up ($50)
More Than Alright (Race 5 no. 2) $2
This mare placed in a heat of last season’s Victoria Oaks behind Our Femme Fatale and Im Smouldering and resumes off the back of a good Tabcorp Park trial behind Romes Burning and Macha at Tabcorp Park. Critically, she also has very good gate speed and if she heads them off here they will not run her down.

Mcniven (Race 6 no. 7) $2.80
The wrap on this bloke might be a bit bigger than it should be and I’m not even 100% sure he would have won at Warragul last start when locking wheels late but he is a pretty smart customer who has speed to burn and can overcome the awful draw today.

Avalon Castle (Race 8 no. 2) $2.25
He is a beautifully bred half-brother to Mother Courage, Tandias Courage and Crusaders Castle who zipped out to lead before comfortable claiming a Tabcorp Park trial on February 11. These 2YO races are always tricky but I’m happy to say he will be far too good.

The Money Race
Race 5
As mentioned above I think More Than Alright (2) will lead and win here and if he does then Mystic Soldier (1) is the leading silver medal candidate just clear of Tarleton Brad (8).

2/ 1/ 8. $30 gets 3000%
2/ 1/ 3,7,9. $30 gets 1000%
2/ 8/ 1. $10 gets 1000%

The Quads (x3)
1,2,3,7/ 2/ 7/ 1,2,5,6,7,8. $120 gets 500%
1,2,3,7/ 2/ 2,3,4/ 1,2,5,6,7,8. $36 gets 50%
1,2,3,7/ 1,8/ 7/ 1,2,5,6,7,8. $24 gets 50%

Good Form Preview - Monday @ Horsham

The Game Plan for Horsham – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
It would be very hard to sell today’s Horsham card as a goldmine for punters because it actually looks a pretty difficult punting programme with a dearth of high quality horses. Having said that there are a few races which look attractive from an exotic perspective which we’ll target as the Money Races while we’ll also have a little All-Up and some Quads as usual.

All-Up ($50)
Romes Burning (Race 1 no. 8) $1.20 to WIN
Idle Suntime (Race 3 no. 10) $2.50 to PLACE
Our Uptown Girl (Race 6 no. 12) $3.50 to PLACE
Keayang Active (Race 8 no. 7) $2.40 to PLACE

The Money Races
Race 1
As previously mentioned, I’m sure that after his devastating Tabcorp Park trial win, Romes Burning (8) will be a world too good for this lot while Mayorofshinetown (2) and The Husk (4) are both quick beginners and should be in the firing line to snare second place along with the ideally drawn Life Sentence (1).

8/ 1,2,4/ 1,2,4. $30 gets 500%
8/ 1,2,4/ 3,6,7. $20 gets 111.11%

Race 3
Idle Suntime (10) gets a big handicap here but he meets meets a smallish field and has panels on most of them for class so should be winning and if he doesn’t then Tommy Kay (3) or A Stylish Jewel (4) look the only possible dangers.

10/ 3,4/ 3,4,6,9. $30 gets 500%
3,4/ 10/ 3,4,6,9. $20 gets 333.33%

Race 8
The exposed form here tells us that Mixedwithajasper (5) and Keayang Active (7) have this between them but Major In Gold (8) has trialled impressively and should complete a skinny Trick to finish off the card.

5,7,8 Boxed. $30 gets 500%
5,7,8/ 5,7,8/ 2,3,4. $20 gets 111.11%

The Quads (x3)
2,3,4,6/ 6,7/ 3,6,8,9,10,12/ 7,8. $46 gets 47.92%
2,3,4,6/ 1,3,4,5/ 3,6,8,9,10,12/ 7,8. $36 gets 18.75%
2,3,4,6/ 6,7/ 3,6,8,9,10,12/ 1,9. $18 gets 18.75%

Good Form Preview - Sunday @ Charlton

The Game Plan for Charlton with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
Best Bets ($50 Win)
(Race 2 No.1 Easton All Action) $2
This mare is flying currently, she should have the speed to hold the lead here and from there be very hard to run down.
(Race 5 No.6 Zedalite) $5.50
This guy is racing in a rich vein of form at the moment. He really quickened when asked to at Melton last start and got out of an awkward spot on straightening then finished powerfully to score. He meets some strong rivals here but he looks a great hope of figuring in the finish and should go around at a good price due to the depth of the field.
(Race 7 No.4 Copthewrath) $4.50
This guy has continued to answer every challenge placed in front of him this preparation with five wins from his past five starts gradually rising through his classes. If he can find the lead today, which I think he is a very good chance of doing his rivals will find it very hard to reel him in.
Best Roughie ($15W/$35P)
(Race 8 No.8 Its Rickys Right) $15
This guy hasn’t shown anything on the track at his two appearances to date. What he has done though is trialled very well in preparation for his return to racing here after a decent break and he is drawn to get the run of the race behind race favourite BURNINGUPTHESTARZZZ (1) and in a race that doesn’t have a lot of depth he could cause an upset.
Quaddie
1,4,5,8,9,10/ 4,6,7,13/ 1,2/ 2,3,4,7,11,12 $100 gets 34.72%

Good Form Preview - Inter Dominion Heat Night @ HQ

The Game Plan for ID Heat Night @ Melton – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
A few things conspired against us last night @ Ballarat but it was far from a disaster & I’m once again keen that w/ an inch of luck we can make some serious folding this evening. Once again I’m leaning heavily to exotics, but playing my 4 Money Races a little more brutally than would normally be the case. I’ve also picked out three Black Figure prospects to combine in a Formula 2 and a quartet of Quads for $150.

Best Bets/ Formula 2 ($60 gets 20 units)
Nico Serrano (Race 2 no. 2) $2.50 – Click here to bet on this horse now
This guy has been in cracking form this campaign and was a little unlucky in a stronger race than this last time out. If he leads as expected than I think he’ll go all the way.

Restrepo (Race 6 no. 1) $2.25 TAB Fixed Odds – Click here to bet on this horse now
The Restrepo of today is a very different model to the one we saw even 3 months ago. He is not a genuine staying machine so look for him to begin quickly early and do everything possible to hold the top because if he does lead them around its hard to see him getting rolled.

Saab Quality (Race 9 no. 7) $2.70 – Click here to bet on this horse now
This bloke doesn’t have the best figure formline but he’s been plying his trade in much harder races and back to the Claiming Grade here I think he’ll play enforcer and simply bully this lot into submission tonight.

The Money Races

Race 1 – Click here to bet on this race now
Cardigan Boko (1) should take a sit behind Mister Gunsen (2) and out-sprint that guy just as he did a couple of starts back. Sundons Promise (7) and Eurasian Kosmos (8) are the other key runners but it would take a big run from either for them to get the cash.

1/ 2,7,8/ 2,7,8. $26 gets 433.33%
1/ 2,7,8/ 3,9. $12 gets 200%
2,7/ 1/ 2,7,8. $8 gets 200%
2,7/ 1/ 3,9. $4 gets 100%

Speed Comment

Restrepo (1) isn’t the quickest beginner of all time but this Inter Dominion heat boats a surprisingly slow front line so he’s a huge chance of booting through and holding the early lead. If he does, then Keayang Cullen (8) should secure a gun run in behind the leader while class runners Abettorpunt (9) and Caribbean Blaster (11) can either make a mid-race move or come with one, sustained run late.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Once again I am relying on a particular Speed Map scenario here but if Restrepo (1) leads
and Keayang Cullen (8) secure the trail here as I expect then the former horse should win and the later horse should share a place w/ him on the podium tonight.

1/ 8/ 11. $25 gets 2500%
1/ 11/ 8. $10 gets 1000%
1/ 8/ 3,4,9. $15 gets 500%

Race 7 – Click here to bet on this race now
I’ve played a little conservatively in my Quads but if I’m being totally honest I think My High Expectations (5) is a stone cold stinking moral yet again tonight. Outside of him there are a few place chances though so we could get some value in these Tricks.

5/ 2,3,8/ 1,2,3,7,8,10. $50 gets 333.33%
5/ 7,10/ 1,2,3,7,8,10. $10 gets 100%

The Quads (x8) Click here to bet on the quaddie now
1,3,8,9/ 2/ 1/ 5. $30 gets 750%
1,3,8,9/ 2/ 8,11/ 5. $20 gets 250%
1,3,8,9/ 2/ 1/ 2,3,7,8,10. $15 gets 75%
1,3,8,9/ 2/ 8,11/ 2,3,7,8,10. $10 gets 25%

1,3,8,9/ 1,3,6,7/ 1/ 5. $24 gets 150%
1,3,8,9/ 1,3,6,7/ 8,11/ 5. $16 gets 50%
1,3,8,9/ 1,3,6,7/ 1/ 2,3,7,8,10. $20 gets 25%
1,3,8,9/ 1,3,6,7/ 8,11/ 2,3,7,8,10. $16 gets 10%

Tabcorp Park Trainer Talk – David Aiken
Best Chance
My High Expectations (Race 7 no.5) $1.65 TAB Fixed Odds – Click here to bet on this horse now
“He is in this week just to keep him tight because there was a month gap between that race and the Sydney race (Chambers Challenge).

“He was really good once he got to the front, from then on he just controlled the race and he’s come through the run really well.

“He gets out the gate good and is going good. If he can find the front that makes it easier for him but the Kiwi (Boizel) is an unknown quantity but he obviously has some ability.”

Others
Cold Sister (Race 7 no.10) $18 TAB Fixed Odds – Click here to bet on this horse now
“We’re just so happy with her, Nathan Jack has been driving her well and she just keeps getting home and she’s getting stronger.

“She could go to the Mares races but I bypassed it last year and I think she’s going better this year. Hopefully she’ll get an invite to Sydney for the Chambers Challenge.”
Cold Major (Race 4 no.1) $3.20 – Click here to bet on this horse now
“He is up a little bit in grade but he has the good draw so he is in with a chance. He’s gotten to the metro grade pretty quickly but he is consistent and always tries."

Our Warwick Lad & Stirling Point (Race 5 no.2 & 8) $5 & $51 – Click here to bet on this horse now
“He’s a bit like Cold Major in that he is up in class but the draw is okay for him. He’s always had ability from day one so if he ran a big race it wouldn’t surprise me. Stirling Point has drawn to get a soft run but I’d say he’ll be looking for a claiming race soon."

Smudge Bromac & Wartime Sweetheart (Race 6 no.6 & 10) $61 & $51 TAB Fixed Odds – Click here to bet on this horse now
“They are both going pretty well but it’s a very tough race, I’m not sure if either of them can win but Wartime Sweetheart has a habit of bobbing up in good races.”

Sectionals
To view the sectional splits of EVERY HORSE in EVERY RACE at Melton last Saturday night simply click here.

As a snapshot below, here are some of the star sectional performers at Melton last weekend.

Fastest Last Mile – Chilli Palmer: 1:50.88

Fastest Last Half – Chilli Palmer: 53.00secs
Fastest Last Quarter – Magical Telf: 26.10secs

Sectional Superstar
Victoria May (Race 5 no.6) – $10 – Click here to bet on this horse now
Although this mare has mixed her form a little of recent times her last effort to run home in 55.09secs suggests she is close to her best again.

Her closing fraction of 27.64secs was also admirable in the Mares races last weekend.
