It would be very hard to sell today’s Horsham card as a goldmine for punters because it actually looks a pretty difficult punting programme with a dearth of high quality horses. Having said that there are a few races which look attractive from an exotic perspective which we’ll target as the Money Races while we’ll also have a little All-Up and some Quads as usual.
All-Up ($50)
Romes Burning (Race 1 no. 8) $1.20 to WINIdle Suntime (Race 3 no. 10) $2.50 to PLACE
Our Uptown Girl (Race 6 no. 12) $3.50 to PLACE
Keayang Active (Race 8 no. 7) $2.40 to PLACE
The Money Races
Race 1
As previously mentioned, I’m sure that after his devastating Tabcorp Park trial win, Romes Burning (8) will be a world too good for this lot while Mayorofshinetown (2) and The Husk (4) are both quick beginners and should be in the firing line to snare second place along with the ideally drawn Life Sentence (1).
8/ 1,2,4/ 1,2,4. $30 gets 500%
8/ 1,2,4/ 3,6,7. $20 gets 111.11%
Race 3
Idle Suntime (10) gets a big handicap here but he
meets meets a smallish field and has panels on most of them for class so should
be winning and if he doesn’t then Tommy Kay (3) or A Stylish Jewel
(4) look the only possible dangers.
10/ 3,4/ 3,4,6,9. $30 gets 500%
3,4/ 10/ 3,4,6,9. $20 gets 333.33%
Race 8
The exposed form here tells us that Mixedwithajasper (5) and
Keayang Active (7) have this between them but Major In Gold (8) has
trialled impressively and should complete a skinny Trick to finish off the
card.
5,7,8 Boxed. $30 gets 500%
5,7,8/ 5,7,8/ 2,3,4. $20 gets 111.11%The Quads (x3)
