The Game Plan for Kilmore
with Andrew Evans (@AndrewEvansHRV).
(Race 1 No.9 My
Bella Starr)
This very smart 3YO filly resumes
here against the older horses. Her form before a short break was very good and
her biggest assets are her versatility and the fact she can do work in her
races. I expect her to work up and sit parked outside of her main danger Mcrita
here who should hold the lead and from there she should have way too much class
for her opposition.
(Race 7 No.6 Rogers
Passion)
This mare won first up in gutsy
fashion at Melton after looking under pressure in the lane but found enough
late to get the job done. She sat parked last start and was very game but just
missed. I expect her to work forward at the start here and sit parked outside IM A
PEREGRINE (1) and I think she can apply
enough pressure throughout to bring him undone then hold off any other
challenges in the lane.
Best Value
(Race 2 No.2 Soho
Wonder) $20W/$50P
This guy hasn’t done a whole lot at
his two runs this preparation, he has drawn wide on both occasions though and
the races have been over the middle distance. Today he drops back to the sprint
journey and he draws well. I expect him to have an early shot for the lead and
if he finds it I expect him to hold onto it and run a big race.
