Good Form Preview - Friday @ The Rat

*Inter Dominion Heat Night Game Plan will be available from 3pm tomorrow.
The Game Plan for Ballarat – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
There’s no other way of putting this other than saying that I am pumped!! In fact, the only problem we have tonight is not getting too over-excited and trying to bet in every single race. To that end, I have abandoned the concept of Best Bets or All-Ups even though I feel there are plenty of very likely winners on the programme in preference for a quartet of Money Races and a host of Quads and if we don’t end on top I will be completely flabbergasted.

The Money Races
Race 2
This is probably the most speculative of our four Money Races which is why it has the smallest outlay but it also could yield the biggest return. In short, I have a MASSIVE opinion of Josephine Jones (6) and wouldn’t be one bit surprised if she develops into one of Australia’s finest trotting mares. It should be little surprise then to hear that I think she’ll beat this lot with ordinary luck and given I rate Dawn Tears (5) a clear second pick the Tricks below are fairly self-explanatory.
6/ 5/ 1,2,3,7,8. $30 gets 600%
6/ 1,2,3,7,8/ 5. $10 gets 200$

Race 5
There are three big guns engaged here; Unico Crown (1), Glenferrie Typhoon (4) and Quite A Moment (11). I am taking a punt by leaving Quite A Moment (11) out of winning calculations due to the 30m handicap while also assuming that Unico Crown (1) is the one to beat courtesy of his ultra-professional manners and ideal draw.
1/ 4/ 11. $30 gets 3000%
1/ 4/ 2,10,12. $20 gets 666.67%
1/ 11/ 4. $10 gets 1000%
4/ 1/ 11. $10 gets 1000%
4/ 11/ 1. $4 gets 400%
4/ 1/ 2,10,12. $6 gets 200%
Race 7
Flaming Flutter (12) is a slightly frustrating horse because at times you’d swear black and blue he’s headed to the top then he’ll lose what he should have won at his very next start. He draws deplorably here but if he brings his A-game he will win for sure while Manuka Man (2), Glenferrie EJ (6) and Mister Livan (10) are the only ones who can roll him and the Tontine Pacers Series’ other true big guns.
12/ 2,6,10/ 2,6,10. $36 gets 600%
12/ 2,6,10/ 1,3,7,8. $24 gets 200%
2,6,10/ 12/ 2,6,10. $12 gets 200%
2,6,10/ 12/ 1,3,7,8. $8 gets 75%
Race 8
Claudys Princess (8) in a Group 1 winner who remains somewhat untapped and if her first-up win is anything to go by she will beat this lot tonight. If she is to be rolled it will be through bad manners or a monster display from either Guiltless (3) or Miracle (7). Those three are the stars engaged and should control the race.
8/ 3,7/ 3,7. $24 gets 1200%
8/ 3,7/ 1,5,6. $18 gets 300%
3,7/ 8/ 3,7. $5 gets 250%
3,7/ 8/ 1,5,6. $3 gets 50%
The Quads (x7)
4/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $55 gets 1100%
4/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 2,6,10. $60 gets 400%
4/ 4,11/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $40 gets 400%
1,7/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $40 gets 400%
4/ 4,11/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 2,6,10. $30 gets 50%
1,7/ 1/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 2,6,10. $15 gets 50%
1,7/ 4,11/ 2,4,5,6,7/ 12. $10 gets 50%
