Good Form Preview - Tuesday Night @ Cranbourne

The Game Plan for Cranbourne – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)
Despite a sometimes vicious angle on the winning post, the Cranbourne track is generally a lovely place to punt and with the pegline runners often favoured – as they are at any high class track – we can hopefully nut out  couple of best bets, a value and some quaddies to land a knockout blow over the bookies tonight!

Best Bets / All-up Formula 1 & 2 ($120 gets 40 units)
Khaleesi (Race 2 no.4) $3
To be perfectly blunt, this girl isn’t in career best form and was relatively disappointing last time however she is a free-rolling type and the likelihood that she will find the top in this race brings her right into contention. At her absolute best she is probably one of only two hopes in the race and if we can secure the $3 she has been marked, I think it’s worth the punt.
Musical Delight (Race 5 no.1) $1.60
This is a superstar mare in the making. She was head and shoulders above her rivals as a juvenile and although she came back to the pack a little as a three-year-old, she was still competitive in the NSW Oaks and has raced through her classes in recent times. First-up from a break she has trialled handily behind Lennytheshark so expect her to be pretty wound up for this. With even luck we should be counting our cash after Race 5.

Best Value ($30 win)
Stoned On Jazz (Race 9 no.3) $8
This guy is nowhere near as experienced as his major rivals in Triumphant Monarch (7) and Invasive (6) however the one thing he does have is the advantage at the handicaps and more than a dash of ability when he puts it all together. He will need to put his best foot forward to win here but it’s worth a punt.

Quaddies (x4 for $120)
1/1,6,7/1,2,3,4,5,6/3. $45 gets 250%
1/5,8/1,2,3,4,5,6/3. $24 gets 200%
1/1,6,7/1,2,3,4,5,6/1,2,4,6. $36 gets 50%
1/5,8/1,2,3,4,5,6/1,2,4,6. $15 gets 31.25%
