This guy ran fourth first up in a stronger race at Ballarat and although beaten by over 14 metres, the fact he is a little fitter here along with the significant class drop, should be enough to see him right in the finish. He has drawn the pole so should be in the gun spot throughout and he really does look a level above his rivals here.

Attack On Command (Race 5 No.4) $6

This guy pulled wide from the one by one last time at Charlton and took an age to wind up before eventually finishing off solidly to be beaten six metres behind Milly Perez who looks pretty smart. He should enjoy the more spacious surrounds of Swan Hill tonight and was a winner of two straight prior to that so if he can work his way to the top early, he must be the one to beat.

Beachstar (Race 6 No.3) $1.90

Coming off nine straight runs in the money, which includes four wins, this little pony is a model of consistency and well worth our punting dollar tonight. He is strong and versatile and has won his last two at this course so given he is in such rare form, I think he is the best bet of the night even if we have to take something around even money.

The Money Races

Race 7 ($30 Quinella)
Rather than try and separate two pretty smart horses, I think our best bet here is to throw some money on the quinella and expect that class can win the day. Angrist (2) is up in grade but in ripping form while Desiring Kate (9) has only lost one race this preparation and won at this track two starts back.

Angrist (3) & Desiring Kate (9). $30 gets 3000%

Race 8 ($40 worth of Flexi First 4’s)
Vee Rock (1) could well be the newest Sunraysia Sensation and for what he has done at his first three starts, this should simply be a cakewalk. Illawong Fantasia (2) looks the main threat so we will bank on that pacer to run second or third in a couple of First 4’s as outlined below.
