Before a break he started second favourite behind Maidstone Miss and struck trouble when looking a chance so given he is pretty good behind the tapes, I think he can be in the first two or three in running and near on impossible to hold out at the finish.

We could be looking at Australia’s best 3YO trotter here and given the consummate ease of her previous victory, She is already a Group 1 winner (2YO Vicbred Super Series) so it’s not much of a leap to say she looks over the line tonight on her way to better things. She takes on a similar field and provided she does everything right, is a nice little interest builder through our all-ups.

Keystone Del (6) is clearly the one they all have to defeat here being the Great Southern Star winner but I’ve been taken with the way Spidergirl (5) has gone about her business the last few starts, she was brilliant in her Uncle Petrika win last time and if she is the first to test speedy beginner Cold Sister (1) in the early stages, then she could very well find the front again.

There is no doubting the Jayne Davies team are in form so that’s where we are going with our best value for the night. This girl has racked up three seconds at her past three runs but she should be rock hard fit at her fifth run in now and given she should enjoy a soft pegline run, I can see her motoring into a place at the knock.

This guy was heavily backed last time and franked that with an all too easy win. Things don’t appear as generous tonight with a back row draw but in saying that he looks a pacer on the race and should be able to overcome the barrier all things being equal.
