It’s not often that I can’t find my way through a meeting but today’s Charlton program is one such card. I’m still pretty keen on the Quaddie though and I’ve also found a value bet and a Star Trialler to keep us interested today.

This girl is no moral but if she starts something close to the $6 she’s marked at in today’s Herald Sun and can hold up behind the leader from her polemarking draw then I’d be shocked if she didn’t at least run a drum. If Tannissa (6) gets a tough run she’s also the next best winning hope today.

Star Trialler

Our Eastwood Cullen (Race 7 no. 11) $5
This former Kiwi 7YO has already made a big impression on Aussie shores with two big trial wins; one at Cranbourne on April 27 where he finished off in 57.9 and more recently at Melton in an almost identical final half. He meets a handy field here today but may be headed for much bigger things and would be worth an Each Way wager if he opens any better than $4.
