Good Form Preview - Saturday Night at Ballarat

THE GAME PLAN for Ballarat – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)

THE MONEY RACES

I’ve come up with Races 1,3 and 7 as the best to target tonight via some trifectas, and although there won’t be too much value on offer I think that if we play hard enough and get the right results we can show a nice little profit for the night.  Below is how I’m playing for a total of $300, which along with the $100 Quaddie will take my outlay for the night to $400.

Race 1
4/ 2,7/ 2,7.  $50 gets you 2500%
4/ 2,7/ 3,6.  $20 gets you 500%
2,7/ 4/ 2,7.  $20 gets you 1000%
2,7/ 4/ 3,6.  $10 gets you 250%

Race 3
5/ 4/ 2,7.  $70 gets you 3500%
5/ 2,7/ 4.  $20 gets you 1000%
4/ 5/ 2,7.  $10 gets you 500%

Race 7
6,7/ 6,7/ 1.  $50 gets you 2500%
6,7/ 1/ 6,7.  $30 gets you 1500%
6,7/ 6,7/ 2,5.  $20 gets you 400%

QUADDIES X4 $100 Total Spend
2/ 3,8,9/ 5/ 6,7.  $30 gets you 500%
2/ 3,8,9/ 2,6,9/ 6,7.  $22 gets you 122.22%
1,3,6/ 3,8,9/ 5/ 6,7.  $21 gets you 116.66%
1,3,6/ 3,8,9/ 2,6,9/ 6,7.  $27 gets you 50%

BLACK BOOKER – Racing Tonight

Cullen Time (Race 2 no. 1) $2.80
I’ll put my hand up here and confess I’m talking through my kick, as I was on this filly for plenty last start, and to say that she should’ve won when third to Cool Machrista is putting it mildly.  She comes up with a nice draw tonight and can make her own luck this time so I’m going to follow up and hope for the right result tonight.

STAR TRIALLER

Must Be Nice (Race 1 no. 4) $1.40

He is a quality 3YO taking on the older horses for the first time tonight, and he is first up from a short break, but he trialled stylishly at Melton 11 days ago to fit him for this assignment and is expected to be very hard to beat from the advantageous draw.
