Good Form Preview - Thursday Night at Kilmore

THE GAME PLAN for Kilmore – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)

VALUE BETS
I’ve found tonight’s meeting a challenging one, but I’ve come up with the following horses to back on an each way basis and if we can land a winner or two I think we’ll end up with more than what we started the night with.  That’s the plan anyway!

Coltrane Bromac (Race 4 no. 1) $10
My thinking here is that Gavin Lang will push this fellow out from the pole in the hope he can kick up enough to hold the leaders back, which looks like being Barkers Hall, so with a cheap run behind the speed I think he is not without a chance at what should be generous odds.  I’m having $30 x $70 on him.

Salem (Race 5 no. 11) $3
This bloke raced well through the recent Working Man’s Club Cup series at Mildura during the Carnival and he was quite good all things considered at Maryborough last time after missing away from the stand behind Our Call Of Duty.  I can see Zac Phillips putting him into the contest once the dust settles up front and I think he has a great chance in what is an open affair.  I’m having $30 x $70 on him.

Ohoka Mach (Race 7 no. 8) $3.20
He has had no luck whatsoever in some pretty strong races recently but that looks set to change tonight as he draws to follow out likely leader Fiery Achiever and the way he has been hitting the line lately he will take plenty of holding out once he ducks down into the passing lane.   I’m having $30 x $70 on him.

THE MONEY RACE
I’ve come up with Race 6 as the best one to target from an exotic point of view and I’m going to take the below Trifectas for a total outlay of $100, which along with my above each way bets and the Quaddie will take my spend for the night to $500.

Race 6

1,3/ 1,2,3,8,9,10/ 1,2,3,8,9,10.  $80 gets you 200%
8,9,10/ 1,3/ 1,2,3,8,9,10.  $20 gets you 83.33%

QUADDIE
1,2,4,6,7/ 5,6,9,11/ 1,3,8,9,10/ 1,3,7,8,9.  $100 gets you 20%
