Good Form Preview - Tuesday Night at Terang

THE GAME PLANS for Terang

THE MONEY RACES
There are a few tricky races on tonight’s program but there are also , in my opinion, some ‘easy kills’ and I’ve come up with Races 1,2 and 6 as the ones to target.  Trifectas looks the best weapon to use and I’m going to spread $300 out over the below bets, which along with my $100 Quaddie will take my total outlay for the night to $400.  Here we go!

Race 1
6,9/ 6,9/ 1,3,4,7.  $70 gets you 875%
6,9/ 1,3,4,7/ 6,9.  $30 gets you 375%

Race 2
2/ 10/ 3,4,7.  $60 gets you 2000%
2/ 3,4,7/ 10.  $40 gets you 1333.33%

Race 6
10/ 7/ 4,5.  $70 gets you 3500%
10/ 4,5/ 7.  $30 gets you 1500%

QUADDIES x 2 $100 Total Spend
3,4,5,7/ 1,8,9,10,11/ 10/ 1,2,3,5.  $70 gets you 87.5%
3,7/ 1,8,9/ 10/ 1,5.  $30 gets you 250%

BLACK BOOKER

Im Living The Dream (Race 7 no. 1) $4
Former Kiwi who hadn’t done much for Dean Braun in two runs before screaming home into third spot behind Illawong Geraldine at Yarra Valley yesterday in the final of a C2/C3 series and from the pole draw tonight with that improved showing last start he looks set to go on with the job.

I always love wagering at Terang and tonight will be no different given it looks an exceptional betting program with plenty of ways to make a coin. Depending upon prices I can see myself having a crack at up to six races this evening, but my night will be based around the Best Value/ Each Way bet, two Money Races and four Quads outlined below.

Best Value/Each Way

Seven And A Half (Race 1 no. 7) $10 ($25 Each Way)
To be honest, I don’t think there’s a huge amount between this guy, Lightning Shark (6) and Itz Dreamin Jonesy (9) but I’m not a massive wrap for either of the other two and based on this bloke’s past two starts I’m not sure he isn’t the best horse in the race. Add to the mix that he’s marked at the fantastic price of $10 and has the services of superstar reinsman Greg Sugars and I’m more than happy to get involved tonight.

The Money Races

Race 2
Many punters skip straight past races where there’s a prohibitively short favourite, but often they are a wonderful chance to clean up on exotics. In this case Keayang Starzzz (2) will almost certainly win but Forced Out (10) is almost an equally good chance of snagging the silver medal, or coming third at very worst. Play skinny and win w/ the combinations below.

2/ 10/ 3,7. $50 gets 2500%
2/ 10/ 4,8,9,11. $40 gets 1000%
2/ 3,7/ 10. $10 gets 500%

Race 6
On face value this looks a two horse race, with Mister Livan (10) likely to start shorter than he should and Hollys Miss Molly (7) a great chance of knocking him off. Regardless of which order they cross the line it would be a shock if they didn’t fight out the finish and there are limited hopes to even run a drum, so play the three combos below and expect that one of the main two will prevail.

7,10/ 7,10/ 8. $40 gets 2000%
7,10/ 7,10/ 4,5. $40 gets 1000%

7,10/ 4,5,8/ 7,10. $20 gets 333.33%

Quaddies (x4)
3/ 1,8,9/ 7,10/ 2,3,5. $36 gets 200%
3/ 1,8,9/ 7,10/ 1,7. $12 gets 100%
2,4,5,6,7/ 1,8,9/ 7,10/ 2,3,5. $45 gets 50%
2,4,5,6,7/ 1,8,9/ 7,10/ 1,7. $7 gets 11.67%
