Extending this late call-up for one more day after a handy return at Bendigo last night, but it won’t be easy w/ only six races to study. As always we’ll have a few cracks at the Quad, which will be active in races 3 through 6, while I’ve also found a couple of Money Races and one Star Trialler on the card.

 

The Money Races

Race 3

Flaxton Filly (1)is something of a non-winner, but she really does appear to have this race on toast from the tidy draw. If she can kick through and hold them out early andYes Jerry (2) can lob her back then they should run one-two in that order but it’s a moderate race so we’ll play things safe for obvious reasons.

Race 7

Lavra Florence (1)has some speed drawn outside her but if Kyle Marshall puts the foot down early he should be able to kick up and hold the early lead. All things being equal,Burston Holme (8) should then lobe her back but there are a few ifs in there so don’t break the bank.

Star Trialler

My Bros Dreaming (Race 4 no. 8)

He is a 4YO son of Armbro Operative who did plenty wrong on debut but resumes here on the back of a 25m trial win on this course last Sunday where he rated 2:02.1 and finished off in 58.1. This isn’t a strong race so a repeat of that effort would almost see him win.
