Good Form Preview - Sunday Sesh @ Lords

The Game Plan for Bendigo - with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)

No matter what code you follow it's been a tough weekend on the punt and while on face value this looks a hard card through which to get back some folding, on closer inspection there's definitely dollars to be won. I've played it pretty simple w/ two Best Bets, two Best Value Bets, two Money Races & some Quads. The Quads are high risk but we should be smiling if one of them lobs.

Best Bets ($25 Win)

Will Atone (Race 2 no. 10) $2
This guy would qualify as both a Good Form Black Booker and Star Trialler and if he does everything right he should win this race for sure.

Eleventh Command (Race 5 no. 1) $3
This bloke has great gate speed and should have the option of either holding the top and shooting for an all-the-way win or handing up to an appropriate rival mid-race. He's been racing in better class and can fill either role and still be too good here.

Best Value ($15 x $10)

Forever Arma (Race 6 no. 2) $5
The start will be all-important for this mare because if she can cross to the top at the start then she's the one to beat but if she can't get past Castro (1) her hopes are pretty well shot.

Top Venue (Race 8 no. 1) $4
This guy has a really ordinary figure formline but he's actually got his fair share of talent and from the polemarking draw, which is a massive advantage over the short course here at Bendigo, he should put his best foot forward here.

The Money Races (Flexi Trifectas for $50)

Race 3

Sals Mo (3) should bully his way to the top here at his first run for Dean Braun and if he does it shoudl be a peg-dominated affair.

3/ 1,7,8/ 1,7,8. $24 gets 400%
3/ 1,7,8/ 2,4,5. $26 gets 288.89%

Race 5

Eleventh Command (1) is the one to beat here and at very worst he should finish second so play a couple of Tricks and hope for value in the placings.

1/ 2,4,5,8,9,11/ 2,4,5,8,9,11. $30 gets 100%
2,4,5,8,9,11/ 1/ 2,4,5,8,9,11. $20 gets 66.67%

Quaddies (x4)

3,4,5,6,7,8/ 1/ 2/ 11. $19 gets 316.67%
3,4,5,6,7,8/ 1/ 2/ 1,2,4,7,8,10. $27 gets 75%
3,4,5,6,7,8/ 1/ 1,5,6,7,10,11/ 11. $27 gets 75%
3,4,5,6,7,8/ 2,4,5,8,9,11/ 2/ 11. $27 gets 75%
