Tonight at Bendigo looks very much a case of the early bird getting the worm for mine. Essentially, we are going to do away w/ Best Bets and worthwhile roughies in preference for a quartet of Money Races to kick off the programme and three potentially lucrative Quads. It’s been a pretty good week so far so let’s end it on a high at Lords Raceway tonight.

The Money Races

Race 1

We made some very good money out of heat-into-final races at Melton last time out and I think we can get some more by 6.05pm tonight. I’m keen on Rojen Dream (2) as the one to beat but I acknowledge that there are three key hopes that are likely to dominate the race and limited others who can even fill a hole.

2,6,8/ 3,4,9/ 2,3,4,6,8,9. $14 gets 58.33%

Race 2

This race is a beauty for those who love a skinny exotic. Basically, Im A Peregrine (1) has both the best overall form and the best draw so he should lead throughout but Union Belle (6) is flying and can test him if she continues to improve. Uroc Mman (7) is a clear third pick and the rest are outside place hopes are best.

Race 3

The inviting part of this race is the presence of Megasam (2) because he’ll lead or race handy and really should finish no worse than second so we can rove with confidence and hope for value in the placings.

Race 4

We’re playing a little more conservatively in our Quads but for these purposes I’m willing to concede that Rule Like A King (3) will be too good and tipping Road To Rock (6) will almost certainly run home to snare a place on the podium.
