Good Form Preview - Wednesday Night @ Terang

The Game Plan for Terang – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Much like today’s Maryborough meeting, tonight’s Terang programme doesn’t boast any sure-fire morals but I’m pretty excited about some of the value on offer in today’s Herald Sun and will be having a decent crack at two Best Value bets, a Money Race w/ a difference and the Quad.

Best Value ($25 Each Way)
Big Gorilla (Race 6 no. 10) $7
This guy went like an absolute machine first-up at Stawell and while he was well beaten last time out he was far from disgraced. On potential alone he’s got a fair bit on his rivals here for mine and even if he’s only $3 I’ll be getting involved.

The Unionist (Race 7 no. 7) $8
I think it’s pretty clear the opinion I have of this bloke given what I’ve said in the past. The fact is he’s a very, very strong short-course specialist that should let some fast-starters cut at each other early before finishing all over the top. I’m pretty keen again here and will be happy w/ anything close to $8 tonight.

The Money Race – with a difference – Race 5
As most Good Form followers would know, when we talk about money Races we’re usually talking about races that lend themselves to skinny exotic wagers but in this case I’ll be targeting three runners I think can win who’ll all be at a pretty handy quote as follows. Please remember these prices are from the Herald Sun and you’ll have to adjust a little if the TAB prices are significantly different.

Jazz King (Race 5 no. 5) $9 ($10 Each Way)
Flaxton Filly (Race 5 no. 2) $13 ($10 Each Way)
Tres Hombres (Race 5 no. 8) $ 21 ($10 Place)

Quaddies
1,3,4,5/ 2,4,5,6,8,11/ 10/ 7. $24 gets 100%
1,3,4,5/ 2,4,5,6,8,11/ 10/ 1,2,3,9. $48 gets 50%
1,3,4,5/ 2,4,5,6,8,11/ 4,7/ 7. $12 gets 25%
1,3,4,5/ 2,4,5,6,8,11/ 4,7/ 1,2,3,9. $16 gets 8.33%

Black Booker (Racing Today)
No Bettertime (Race 1 no. 3) $3.80
This bloke was finishing three tho their one against a similar field to this at Charlton first-up and he should be winning here with a similar display. Click here to view his most recent run.
