The Game Plan for Mildura – with Jason Bonnington
(@jasonbonnington)
I will preface this Game Plan by saying that it can
sometimes be pretty difficult to know what price horses will start at in the
Sunraysia, so I’m targeting three Best Bets who are all at Black figure odds in
today’s Herald Sun but look on if you’re getting odds-on about any of them.
I’ll also be having a crack at four Quads in the hope of a little return.
Best Bets ($20 Win)
Phantom Of The Opera (Race 4 no. 10) $3There are three Shayne Cramp-trained runners here and they all have some ability but I’m sticking with the bloke above because he has the score on the board.
Spokeswoman (Race 5 no. 10) $3
This filly finished off OK without ever threatening in SA
last start but she looked like a machine prior to that and if she bounces back
to her very best form I can’t see them holding her out, poor draw and all.
Stonethachristian (Race 8 no. 1) $2.20
He also put in a below par performance last time but he’s
another I’m willing to forgive, particularly as he will start from the ideal
polemarking draw and should shoot for a likely pillar to post success.
