Good Form Preview - Wednesday @ Cobram

The Game Plan for Cobram – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Today’s Cobram programme looks an extremely tricky one for punting but if we book-end the meeting w/ a couple of Value Bets, try and get some place money out of our Best Roughie and sneak a slice of what should be a very valuable Quad, we’ll be very happy campers indeed!

Best Value ($25 Each Way)
Salute The Wind (Race 1 no. 6) $4
I’m more than happy to stick with this guy once again today. He has the 20m handicap to contend with along w/ some pretty handy rivals but if we back him Each Way he’ll give us a great run for our money at OK odds.

Just Knew (Race 8 no. 10) $5
If I Had to push punters into one horse on an Each Way basis right throughout the programme it would be this guy. He’s talented and consistent and I don’t think he’ll be limited by the OK trailing draw.

Best Roughie ($50 Place)
Albert Austin (Race 2 no. 7) $15
This bloke has been beaten by Realy Under Fire and Nowitzki at his past two starts and before that had been competitive in better races than this. He is no gun but this is a very moderate field and if Beck Bartley can give him an economical trip then he can fill a place.

Quaddies
2,3,7,8,9,11,12/ 1,9,10/ 6,7,10,11/ 1,3,5,10,11. $100 gets 23.81%
