I must say I found this evening a pretty tricky one on the whole but I reckon if we play for value but targeting, yes 3 Value Bets, along w/ 2 Best Roughies and some Qauds we should end up on top and may even jag a tidy collect if a couple of our Each Way best actually get the cash.
Best Value ($20 Each Way)
Attack On Command (Race 1 no. 11) $7
It’s fair to say I’ve been following this guy without a great deal of success but I really liked his run from the back last start & if he can produce a similar performance in this pretty moderate field I can’t see him missing a place and he’s a big chance of walking away the winner at handy odds.
Trottin Rosco (Race 3 no. 12) $9 & Heyles (Race 3 no. 13) $6.50
I’m well aware these two have drawn the car park but it actually might help one of them win. In short, Trottin Rosco (12) has more talent than most of these and is due for a change of luck after having none so far this campaign while Heyles (13) is also well graded here on his best form and was unlucky not to break through after leading the three wide line last time out. If one gives the other a cart into the race here I’m very hopeful that one of the pair will win.
Best Roughies ($10 x $30)
Bank Of Nova (Race 5 no. 6) $12
This guy has a couple of things in his favour in that he has very good gate speed and should at least be in the fight, if not out in front early on and many people will have missed the fact that he was chopped out late in a better race than this last time out. At the double figure quote he’s definitely worth a lash.
Royal Deviate (Race 7 no. 4) $13
This bloke can be a very frustrating animal but at his best he’s very smart and looks ideally suited with all of his major rivals drawn worse than him tonight. You’ll have to hold your breath with him but he did win a recent Shepparton trial finishing off in 57.9 so on the score of talent he’s well worth a lash if the odds hold up tonight.
The Quads (x3)
3/ 2,6,9,10,11/ 10/ 4,6,7,9,10,11. $30 gets 100%
3/ 2,6,9,10,11/ 2,4,5,6,8/ 4,6,7,9,10,11. $50 gets 33.33%
4,7/ 2,6,9,10,11/ 10/ 4,6,7,9,10,11. $20 gets 33.33%
