I know this is getting to sound a bit familiar but once again tonight we have a very tricky programme in front of us w/ no living morals and plenty of question marks over almost every race. I’m steering clear of the shorties as a result in preference for 5 Roughies, 1 Money Race and some Quads. We’re still ahead for the week to date (just) so hopefully we can add to the bounty tonight.
Best Roughies ($5 x $20)
Jilliby Hanover (Race 1 no. 2) $12This bloke certainly isn’t the strongest member of the Marg Lee team but he should find the lead first and whether he retains that role or hands up in transit he looks a great chance of finishing on the podium at tidy odds.
Shes His Story (Race 1 no. 5) $13
She is also in the meeting’s opening race and after coming
from last to round up her rivals at Bendigo last time out she’s also worth
something the win and four times as much for the place.
Livia De Gerolstein (Race 5 no. 5) $12
A bit will depend on the start with this girl as she’ll be
desperate for Win The Crowd (1) to hold the early lead but if he does as
expected then this girl should go pretty close even without the aid of a sprint
lane exit.
Black Cougar (Race 7 no. 2) $15
This mare is a fair but more talented than her race record
might suggest and if they burn early here and she can lob a cushy run, her very
good turn of foot will be a factor in the lane.
The Money Race – Race 3 ($100 Trifectas)
I really like the look of this race so we’re going to play
each of the Trifectas below where Goodtime Veejay (5) is required
to finish first or second for us to get a result.5/ 2,4/ 2,3,4. $56 gets 1400%
5/ 3/ 2,4. $8 gets 400%
2,4/ 5/ 2,3,4. $32 gets 800%
3/ 5/ 2,4. $4 gets 200%
The Quads (x3)
3,4,6/ 1/ 3,5,12/ 1,2,8,9,10. $30 gets 66.67%3,4,6/ 1/ 1,2,4,7,8,9/ 1,2,8,9,10. $30 gets 33.33%
3,4,6/ 3,6,8,9/ 3,5,12/ 1,2,8,9,10. $40 gets 22.22%
Black Booker (Racing Tonight)
Tribal Fella (Race 2 no. 2) $4.40This guy made up a stack of ground here two runs back after making a mistake in the score up. Last start he had a lovely run behind the leader from his front row draw and looked to have plenty left in the tank entering the lane but never got fully into the clear and went down narrowly.
