She looks a great chance of getting the lead tonight and with a lack of any real pressure in the affair it will take a special performance from one of her rivals to mow her down.

As mentioned earlier I’m very keen on Born Again Sassy to lead and win so I’m anchoring her around the other two favourites Pembrook Caesar and Madam Pom Pom in first fours plus I’ll take a saver with that pair just in case Born Again Sassy gets rolled. Craig Turnbull-trained son of Life Sign who draws awkwardly first up but looks to have plenty of talent going on his trial success at Maryborough last week where he rated 2:02.2 and slipped home in 29.0 and with the right luck in running he should go close on debut.
Colby Reilly (Race 5 no. 3) $3
Won 2 of his 3 starts in his freshman season and resumes tonight off the back of an easy trial success at Shepparton 10 days ago and he should run very well first up from the nice gate.
