THE GAME PLAN for Mildura – with Michael Polster
(@MickPolster)
All-up
I think there are three good things on tonight’s program and
they look a great all-up which should return you around $3 for every $1 you
invest.
Major Capital (Race 2 no. 5) $1.30
Most impressive first up last week and with an easy lead up
for grabs he’ll be much too slick once more.
Ubringthedrinks (Race 4 no. 2) $2.20
He might have to burn for 100m to keep the front but after
that he will get a cheap run and should get the cash.
Jordylan (Race 5 no. 9) $2.60
He was most unlucky here last week but he won’t be held up
this time around and his class should see him home.
Quaddie
2/ 9/ 5,6,9,11/ 3,5,6,9,11. $100 gets you 500%
BLACK BOOKERS (Racing Tonight)
Shakatomic (Race 5 no. 8) $8
Produced a career-best performance last week where after
travelling wide the final circuit he battled on bravely for third to Shelby
Cruzin and Johnny Tee. He will more than likely get away from the pegs shortly
after the start and if he can gain a trail into the action he is capable of
causing a boil over. Click here to view the run.
Jordylan (Race 5 no. 9) $2.60
Trailed the leader Superstar Xpress last week and was
looking for runs everywhere in the straight before flashing home for third to
that bloke in a sprint to the wire. He will be out in the open this time
around, doesn’t meet a strong line up and looks set to atone for his defeat as
favourite last time out. Click here to view the run.
STAR TRIALLERS – (Racing Tonight)
Red Loco (Race 2 no. 7) $21
P B Bullville gelding on debut for Ian Watson who won his
latest trial on this track comfortably in a reasonable mile rate of 2:03.3,
although the last half was quite slow. He won’t be able to match it with Major
Capital first up tonight but he can certainly get into the placings and is one
to include in your multiples.
Beaudiene Riviera (Race 5 no. 4) $41
Capable mare on her day who resumes from a 7-month break
tonight off the back of a handy trial effort on this circuit last Monday when
placed behind Our Flyin Jazz. She will be at big odds and isn’t a winning
chance but if you are playing the exotics she can be thrown into you
combinations to spice things up a bit.
BLACK BOOKERS – (Bendigo Last Night)
Prettygirl Lassie
Was slow to begin and was then forced to endure a trough
trip three-deep and her effort to run fourth behind the handy Yankee Avenue in
solid time was terrific. She was an impressive winner from the breeze prior and
will be picking up another one or two this campaign the way she is going at
present. Click here to view the run.
Duchess Pat
Began well to lead but copped unnecessary pressure
throughout and after shaking off all of the challengers on the turn she went
down fighting behind Star Style, who had a much softer run. She is an honest
mare who rarely runs a bad race and should be winning in the not too distant
future in a suitable affair with a softer run at the head of affairs or just
off the speed. Click here to view the run.
