THE
GAME PLAN for Maryborough – with Michael Polster (@MickPolster)
The
Money Races
Looks a
tricky card today with no real standouts so I think the best way to get some
cash is via some trifectas in Races 5 and 7.
Below is
how I’m playing with $50 spent on each race for a total outlay of $100.
Race 5
1/
2,3,5,10/ 2,3,5,9,10. $40 gets you 250%
2,3,5,10/
1/ 2,3,5,9,10. $10 gets you 62.5%
Race 7
1,10/
1,2,3,4,10/ 1,2,3,4,7,9,10. $40 gets you 100%
2,3,4/
1,10/ 1,2,3,4,7,9,10. $10 gets you 33.33%
Quaddies
(x4)
1,3,5,6,7,9/
1/ 10,11/ 1,10. $30 gets you 125%
1,3,5,6,7,9/
1/ 10,11/ 2,3,4. $30 gets you 83.33%
1,3,5,6,7,9/
2,3,5,10/ 10,11/ 1,10. $25 gets you 26.04%
1,3,5,6,7,9/
2,3,5,10/ 10,11/ 2,3,4. $15 gets you 10.41%
Lavish
Art (Race 1 no. 6) $2.70
Produced an
encouraging effort first up form a spell at Kilmore last Thursday night where
she charged home out wide for second to Onetolove in what was just a dash up
the straight.
She will be
fitter and although she may get back in the run today the small field will help
her when she makes a dash at them in the stretch. Click here to view the run.
STAR
TRIALLERS
Brief
Glance (Race 6 no. 10) $3.20
Can be
risky on occasions but when he puts it all together he is top class, as
evidenced by his Vicbred triumph last season over Elegant Image.
He has had
a trial hit out at Melton recently to liven him up for this and he will
certainly make a race of it with Aleppo Midas if he goes around safely.
Drunken
Desire (Race 7 no. 10) $4
Hasn’t been
seen since finishing down the track behind Cromac Jamie back in September at
Melton but looks ready to go first up going on his trial victories of late at
Shepparton and on this circuit. He has the
back row draw to overcome today, plus some handy opposition, but he is quite
talented and should run home strongly fresh.
