The Game Plans for Bendigo

The Money Races

Race 4
It’s not too often I get enthused about a standing start race but I really like the look of this one with Tyler Bromac, Flash Of Freedom and Dual Agent Tabman sure to dominate.
Below is how I’m playing with a $100 total spend.

First Four: 1,4/ 3/ 2,5,6,7,8/ 1,4.  $5 gets you 50%

Race 6
My speed map has Algranco Alive leading early before handing up to Easton All Action and with no real pressure in the affair they look a great value base for trifectas and first fours.
Below is how I’m playing with a $100 total spend.

Trifecta: 5/ 4/ Field.  $15 gets you 166.66%
Trifecta: 5/ Field/ 4.  $15 gets you 166.66%

Trifecta: 4,9,10,11/ 5/ Field.  $15 gets you 40.54%
First Four: 4,9,10,11/ 5/ Field/ Field .  $15 gets you 5.20%

Best Bet

Easton All Action (Race 6 no. 5) $3.70
Liked her first up run behind Gumdrops (winner again since) at Maryborough where she did work in the final circuit and battled on well for third at the end of a 56.9 final half. She will be fitter, gets Chris Alford, looks like getting an easy lead off Algrancos Icon and with a lack of any pressure in the race she will take a power of running down.

Quaddies (x8)
3/ 1,6,7/ 5/ 11.  $20 gets you 666.66%
3/ 1,6,7/ 5/ 4,6,8,10,12. $25 gets you 166.66%
3/ 1,6,7/ 4,9,10,11/ 11. $5 gets you 41.66%
3/ 1,6,7/ 4,9,10,11/ 4,6,8,10,12. $10 gets you 16.66%
1,4/ 1,6,7/ 5/ 11. $10 gets you 166.66%
1,4/ 1,6,7/ 5/ 4,6,8,10,12. $15 gets you 50%
1,4/ 1,6,7/ 4,9,10,11/ 11. $5 gets you 20.83%
1,4/ 1,6,7/ 4,9,10,11/ 4,6,8,10,12. $10 gets you 8.33%

Best Bet

Tyler Bromac (Race 4 no.3) ($1.60)
This guy has been flying of late and I’m confident there’s plenty more Melton wins in store for him so it would be something of a shock if he didn’t win tonight.

Best Value
Star Style (Race 2 no. 4) ($5)
She was excellent at Cobram two starts back before being trapped wide last time out. She’s got the potential to win much better races than this so expect you a great run with ordinary luck tonight as well.

Money Races
Race 1
Tend to think that there are three standout winning chances in this race that should go close to fighting out the finish but concede that anything can finish third so playing for value with the following Trifecta.

1,5,6/ 1,5,6,10/ Field. $63 gets 100%.
Race 5
I’m very confident Incoming Flight (4) will find the front here but Radiant River (6) is the class runner of the race and I just think he’ll be a bit too good for them. The way I see the race being run, peg-line runners will come into play & i see them filling the places behind my top tip so here’s how I’m playing.

6/ 1,4,8/ 1,4,8. $60 gets 1000%.

BLACK BOOKERS (Racing Tonight)

Chevaux Rainbow (Race 1 no. 1) $6
Robbie Zuve (Race 1 no. 6) $7
Yankee Avenue (Race 1 no. 10) $5
This trio all competed in heats of tonight’s final on this track 10 days ago with Chevaux Rainbow and Robbie Zuve a touch unlucky in defeat with Yankee Avenue superb in winning. There isn’t a great deal between them and for what it’s worth I have a leaning towards Chevaux Rainbow at the value, but all three are strong winning chances. STAR TRIALLERS

Young Modern (Race 3 no. 2) $2
Mick Stanley-prepared son of Modern Art who has looked sharp at the trials of late; running second at Maryborough in solid time late last month before winning a Terang workout last Sunday in 2:00.5.
He looks like he has his share of talent and would only need to replicate his trial efforts tonight to be extremely hard to beat on debut.

Madam Pom Pom (Race 7 no. 11) $1.80
Hasn’t been seen since competing admirably in the Queensland Oaks behind O Baby back in July but she was sharpened up for this with a recent easy Kilmore trial victory. She won 6 of her 13 outings last season including the Group 2 Nursery Pace at Albion Park and although this won’t be a pushover her class should see her home first up.

Our Molly Finn (Race 8 no. 4) $1.70
Raced with distinction in her 7 outings last season against some quality opposition and resumes tonight into a very winnable affair off the back of a Melton trial success 16 days ago.  She has gate speed, looks a great chance of getting the lead and from there she really should sneak away with this fresh.

BLACK BOOKERS – (Shepparton Last Night)

Dizzyinterest
Was having her first start last night and did a great job to run a narrow second to the smart Vics Cheval after doing her share of work mid-race to find the lead. She will improve greatly from the experience and looks to be another handy young trotter in the hands of David Aiken who will win her share of races this campaign. Click here to view the run.

Ohoka Courage
Didn’t begin the best from behind the strands and after sitting on the pegs throughout he was looking for runs all the way down the straight without ever getting out. He has been going well this time in and looks destined to breakthrough soon in a suitable race, preferably from behind the mobile. Click here to view the run.

TABCORP PARK SECTIONALS

Now one of the most popular features of Good Form Wednesday, this week's Tabcorp Park Sectionals have recorded the fractional splits of EVERY horse in EVERY race last Friday night at Melton.
