Good Form Preview - Wednesday @ Shepparton

The Game Plan for Shepparton – with Blake Redden (@BlakeRedden)

Best Bets / All Up Formula 3 ($61)

Waves Of Fire (Race 2 No.6) $1.20

This guy may have just had the four starts but a couple of his efforts have been  simply outstanding. A last start win in the Nursery Pace at Albion Park has him set for further success tonight as he returns to Victoria where he has had two starts for a forgivable debut followed by tough second to Burnaholeinmypocket. All things being equal he should outclass his rivals today.

Admiral Joy (Race 3 No.1) $1.60

A stablemate of the first best bet, this fella had really tested punters patience remaining a maiden in his first 21 starts but he has switched on well in his last two, scoring convincingly. With the polemarker draw today he should be able to hold a forward position and take care of his rivals in the run to the line.

Bryce Cooper (Race 6 No.1) $1.20

This is an infinitely winnable race for this little gelding given he won four straight prior to behind beaten narrowly by the brilliant Hectorjayjay. He should have the speed to hold his rivals wide here and if that’s the case, it’s just about race over.

Best Value ($25 win)

Epaulette (Race 5 No.7) $4.20

I love the toughness this guy showed two starts ago in defeat when they went blistering pace early. From there he progressed to win comfortably in an easier race at Kilmore and while this is another step up in class, he is still on an upward spiral and can overcome the poor barrier.

Vikenti (Race 7 No.10) $3.20

Although this guy stepped back to C0 grade last time, he won with something in hand and having notched up three wins from five starts I do think he is going places. He will need some luck from the second row but in a relatively even race he is the horse to beat and is worth a small investment.

Im Smouldering (Race 8 No.7) $3.50

I wasn’t quite sure where this girl was at a couple of months back but she has well and truly hit back with a vengeance, her second to Composed two starts back with terrific before a third behind Tandias Bromac last time. While she is in a race filled with talent, she has already proven herself to be Group 1 class so even from the alley she must be the horse to beat.

Quaddies (x2 worth $104)

7,8,9/1/3,4,6,10/2,5,7,8 $72 gets 150%

3,4,10,11/1/3,4,6,10/2,5,7,8. $32 gets 50%
