While beaten last time, this guy comes out of a much stronger race than many of his rivals here and two starts ago he put the writing on the wall with a slashing win. There’s no doubt Garibaldi (1) could be pretty good but I’m banking on this guy to out tough him when it counts.

Tandias Bromac (Race 6 No.1) $4 TAB Fixed Odds

This is a massive leap in grade for this girl but she has been plying her trade well against the four-year-old mares of recent times. She has the added bonus of the gun alley and given she will likely end up locked away behind the leader, she can outsprint her rivals in the lane.

Best Roughies ($5 win x $15 place)

Daenarys Targaryen (Race 4 No.8) $12

This girl loomed into the Vic Trotters Oaks like a serious threat before galloping last time and her second first up in the NSW Trotters Oaks was solid enough. She needs to improve a little but she has class and was a Redwood Classic winner last season so if things go her way, she can knock them out for sure.

Our Eastwood Cullen (Race 5 No.1) $16

This guy is stepping up a fair way in class but just three runs ago he ripped around this track in 1:54.8. That proves that he can handle this class and run the time so even though he will likely be big odds, if he ends up behind the leader, or even three pegs, I think he can steam home at the death to run at least a place.

Sunset Invasion (6) really does look a trotter on the way up and has a class edge on his rivals tonight so I think we can play some trifectas, banking on his major dangers to fill the placings and get some early cash.
