Good Form Preview - Wednesday @ Horsham

The Game Plan for Horsham – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
I regard Horsham as one of Victoria’s better tracks, so when we find good horses here we can usually back them with confidence. In that spirit, I’m going to attack an exotic multi coupling three likely winners while also throwing my Best Bet of the day into a Money Race and splitting the Quaddie up three ways in order to make some cash for Melton’s ‘Fourtune’ promotion this Friday night.

Best Bets/ Formula 2/ All-Up
At least two of the following three horse should get the job done, so I’m taking a Formula 2 for $60 which will pay out 20 times, but fell free to have a little dig at the all-up if you want a windfall dividend.

Real Elegance (Race 3 no. 1) $2.20
This girl showed good gate speed to put herself in the firing line before running home stoutly behind subsequent winner Our Petite Souer last start at Ballarat and while she’ll probably need her fair share of luck to break through here I reckon anything better than flip-of-the-coin odds is good enough to rope me in.

Crusader Acey (Race 5 no. 11) $2.20
This guy drops in grade from the Bendigo Guineas where he wasn’t far from the pretty smart Itz Dreamin Jonesy and beat home subsequent winner Wounded, back to a mid-week 3C0 to 3C1 affair. I can see him doing something very similar to four starts back at Shepparton where he drew poorly over the short course before launching a three-wide claim at the bell and running his rivals down at the knock. If anything, this race is easier than that one so expect a similar result.

Cheap Tint (Race 6 no. 1) $1.70
He didn’t beat much but the way this bloke won last start, where he sat parked in a 60-second first half at Hamilton last start was reminiscent of an equally big win at this course on Horsham Cup day and so long as he doesn’t get buried from the ace alley here, he’ll be winning again.

The Money Race – Race 5
As mentioned above I’m very keen on Crusader Acey (11) getting the cash here and if he doesn’t, the only horse I can see beating him is Ynobe Coby (6) given he has untapped potential and should lead them around. There also limited place hopes here with a couple of horse in particular looking very unlikely to feature so play the Tricks below and give yourself double the reason to cheer Crusader Acey (11) home.

11/ 2,6,10,12/ 2,6,10,12. $73 gets 608.33%
11/ 2,6,10,12/ 5,8. $16 gets 200%
6/ 11/ 2,10,12. $9 gets 300%
6/ 11/ 5,8. $2 gets 100%

Quaddies
3,4,8,9/ 11/ 1/ 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,10. $52 gets 166.67%
3,4,8,9/ 11/ 4,6/ 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,10. $32 gets 50%
3,4,8,9/ 6/ 1/ 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,10. $16 gets 50%
