Good Form Wednesday - Sunny Sunraysia

THE GAME PLAN for Mildura – with Michael Polster (@MickPolster)

A typically tricky night at Mildura with no real standouts and I think the best way to extract some cash out of the program is via an all-out assault on Race 5 plus a crack at the Quaddie.

There won’t be thousands waiting for us if these bets come off but it should be a nice collect nonetheless. Here’s how I’m playing with $100 total spend on each.

The Money Race - Race 5

Superstar Xpress (5) ($4.50) comes off a cracking run at Swan Hill last time where he charged home from the rear for a game second to Born Again Sassy. He is a brilliant beginner as a rule and has run some outstanding races from the top end on this track in the past and he should be there tonight.

Another President (1) ($4.50) has been freshened up since winning in brilliant time here a month ago where he enjoyed a beaut trip behind the speed. He should do enough early to maintain the spot behind the leader and with the pace expected to be reasonable once more he’ll take holding out.

Quinella
Another President (1) and Superstar Xpress (5) x $30

Trifectas
1,5/ 1,5/ Field x $42 which gets you 300%
1,5/ field/ 1,5 x $35 which gets you 250%

Quaddies (x2)
1,2,3,5,6/ 1,5/ 1,2,3,5,8/ 1. $50 gets you 100%
1,2,3,5,6/ 1,5/ 1,2,3,5,8/ 6,7. $50 gets you 50%

BLACK BOOKER – (Racing Tonight)
Our Walden Bury (Race 7 no. 6) ($7)
Did a super job to run second to Fergus McCool here last start after travelling wide the final circuit in a race run at a genuine tempo throughout. He has the wide alley to overcome tonight and will need a few favours but he is a quality sit-sprinter who can win with the right run in transit. Click here to view

STAR TRIALLER – (Racing Tonight)
One Dog One Bone (Race 2 no. 5) ($4)
He is having his first run for Boris Devcic tonight and looks ready to run a bold race after winning a trial on this circuit comfortably late last month. He is a one-paced type of horse who is likely to push forward, race handy and in an open contest he has as good a chance as any.

TABCORP PARK SECTIONALS

After a one week sabbatical the popular & pivotal sectional times for EVERY horse from selected races @ Tabcorp Park last Friday night is back! Interesting to note that the horse who ran the fastest last half @ headquarters last weekend was also nominated for the Good Form Black Book and will line up this SATURDAY NIGHT at Melton. Wondering who it is? Click here to find out.
