STAR TRIALLER – (Racing Tonight)

Smooth Freddy (Race 5 no. 8)
Comes off an all-the-way Cranbourne success 13 days ago and has since won a trial at Melton in fine style to keep him ticking over. He will get a nice run through on the back of Bon Jovi tonight and with a bit of pace on early expect him to be hard to hold out at the business end.

BLACK BOOKERS – (Racing Tonight)

Pembrook Caesar (Race 2 no. 2)
Was having her first run on Aussie soil at Melton 8 days ago and struck instant pay dirt by cruising to victory after enjoying dream run in the lead. She will be improved, will pounce on the lead once more from the ideal barrier and should justify her short quote of $1.20 in this morning’s Herald Sun. Click here to view her most recent run.

Waterslide (Race 2 no. 4)
Had no luck whatsoever at Horsham last start where she never saw daylight at any stage in the straight to go to the line full of running behind Extricate. She gets into this contest well with the claim for the in-form Zac Phillips and should run a drum with ordinary luck. Click here to view her most recent run.

Zedaguy (Race 9 no. 4)
This guy is still a maiden but indicated his turn is coming with a slashing second to the talented Easy Lightning at Shepparton last week first up from a break. He bumps into Dean Braun’s highly-rated debutante Mister Livan tonight but looks a clear second pick and can be backed with confidence on a 1 x 3 basis. Click here to view his most recent run.

BLACK BOOKERS – (Melton Last Night)

Summer Ace
Caught the eye once again at Melton last night where he charged home out wide in a 27.2 final stanza to run an excellent third to Beach Melody. He is an opportunist who needs the right luck in his races to be at his most devastating but will be winning very soon with luck in a suitable affair. Click here to view the run.

Veranjee
Did some work in the early stages before slipping out of the 1 x 1 at the turn and finishing off strongly into second spot behind rising star Chancellor Cullen. He was super sitting outside of Saucy Vision to win the week prior and has a few more wins at headquarters in him for sure. Click here to view the run.

Tyler Bromac
Really savaged the line once he got clear on the turn and ran the smart Kotare Roland to a length at the end of a 27.6 final quarter. He is starting to put it all together now for John Justice and will be winning his share of races this campaign on last night’s effort. Click here to view the run.
