Good Form Preview - ABC Semi-Final Night @ Bray

Due to the unusual nature of tonight's meeting at Bray Raceway, with 8 semi-finals of the Breeders Crown Series to be staged - and fixed odds markets on each - we're going to have a slightly different approach to the Good Form Game Plan. Rather than splitting this evening's attack into Bet Types we're going to play Race by Race as outlined below.

Race 1

Burnaholeinmypocket (No. 5) $15/$3.54 TAB Fixed Odds - $5 Win $25 Place

There's no great tactical mystery here; I just like this guy a lot. I think he's probably a half-step of the best juvenile boys in Australasia but he's drawn the right semi-final and with Kept Under Wraps (9) drawn so awkwardly he's a great chance of running a drum and a reasonable hope of taking home the prize.

Race 2

Money Race - Flexi Trifectas for $60

I am near enough to certain that Linda Lovegrace leads & wins here with four key hopes likely to fill the placings and clear second favourite Niki No No (5) a reasonable hope of missing the top three.

4/ 3,5,10,12/ 1,6,11. $12 gets 100%

Race 4

Stening (No. 1) $3 Place TAB Fixed Odds - $40 Place

If this guy holds Follow The Stars' (3) back as I expect him too, I'll be flabbergasted if he can't fill a hoel @ pretty inflated odds.

Francisco De Gore (No. 13) $6.85 Place TAB Fixed Odds - $20 Place

This bloke has the opposite draw to Stening (1) but if the heat is on early in the race to lead after the start before handing up to Follow The Stars (3) I can see this bloke rattling home & onto the dais late.

Race 6

Soho Tokyo (No. 13) $5.57 Place TAB Fixed Odds - $20 Place

This filly is perpetually underrated and given she parked outside Katy Perry (5) and finished second to that filly in the Tatlow Stakes I'm sure that she can do the work to figure despite the bad draw.

Race 7

My General Lee (No. 13) $15/$2.55 TAB Fixed Odds - $10 Win $30 Place

Most pundits have Messini (2) over the line here but I am not so sure, particularly with the front line speed engaged and the fact that this bloke has the dash to come from 20m off the lead on straightening & still threaten tonight.

Race 8

Money Race - Flexi Trifectas for $60

Despite the recent hype around Saloon Passage (1) I'm sticking fat with class runners Our Sky Major (3) & Bling It On (10) here in that order while underrated types Hectorjayjay (5) & Jilliby Jagger (11) could add value to exotics.
