THE GAME PLAN for Kilmore – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)
The Money Races
Tonight’s meeting looks a competitive one with some talented types going around and I’ve come up with Races 2, 4 and 7 as the best ones to target from a punting point of view.
Race 2
Muscle Stride ran a nice race on debut at Cranbourne just short of three weeks ago when second to Hes Kinky in 1:58.3 for the mile and looks the one to beat with the ultra-consistent filly Rogers Joy his main threat so I’m going to base my trifectas around that pair. Below is how I’m playing for $100 total spend.
10,11/ 10,11/ 1,2,3,4,5,9. $60 gets you 500%
10,11/ 1,2,3,4,5,9/ 10,11. $40 gets you 333.33%
Race 4
Three above average types Madam Pom Pom, Kurahaupo Quin and Tyler Bromac clash here and I think they look a great boxed trifecta with not a lot between the trio, but I will also take another one with Revivalist, Wizard Of Speed and Brigadier Scott on the third line just in case things don’t go to plan. Below is how I’m playing for $100 total spend.
1,4,8 Boxed. $60 gets you 1000%
1,4,8/ 1,4,8/ 2,5,6. $40 gets you 222.22%
Race 7
Black Caprice has trialled well since disappointing first up from a break behind Hoagy Bromac at Melton and from the ace alley he really should go wire-to-wire, but if he is to be rolled Easton All Action will be the one to cause an upset as she will get the gun run from her trailing draw. So with all that in mind I’m going to play the below trifectas for $100 total spend and cover both bases.
1/ 8/ 2,3,5,9,10. $55 gets you 1100%
1/ 2,3,5,9,10/ 8. $30 gets you 600%
8/ 1/ 2,3,5,9,10. $15 gets you 300%
Quaddies x4 $100 outlay
1,4,8/ 4,9/ 7,9,10,11/ 1. $43 gets you 179.16%
1,4,8/ 3,5,6/ 7,9,10,11/ 1. $36 gets you 100%
1,4,8/ 4,9/ 7,9,10,11/ 8. $12 gets you 50%
1,4,8/ 3,5,6/ 7,9,10,11/ 8. $9 gets you 25%
