THE GAME PLAN for Echuca – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)
The Money Race
Race 8
I found tonight a tricky meeting to bet at but I think the best race to attack is the George Croxford Tribute Final where Sokys Bigbullet and Almost El Eagle stand out from the rest. I can see them sitting 1,2 in the run and dominating so I’m going to play some trifectas and first fours around the pair for a total of $400, which along with the Quaddie will take my total spend for the meeting to $500. A little risky throwing all the eggs into one basket but I’m confident of a result.
Trifecta: 1,4/ 1,4/ 2,5,8,9,10,11. $140 gets you 1166.66%
Trifecta: 1,4/ 2,5,8,9,10,11/ 1,4. $60 gets you 500%
First Four: 1,4/ 1,4/ 2,5,8,9,10,11/ 2,5,8,9,10,11. $140 gets you 233.33%
First Four: 1,4/ 2,5,8,9,10,11/ 1,4/ 2,5,8,9,10,11. $60 gets you 100%
Quaddies x 2 $100 Outlay
1,2,3,4,5,6/ 1,2,4,7,9/ 1,2,6,10/ 5,9,10. $50 gets you 13.88%
1,2,3,4,5,6/ 1,2,4,7,9/ 1,2,6,10/ 2,3,4,8,11,12. $50 gets you 6.94%
BLACK BOOKER – Racing Tonight
Smudge Bromac (Race 7 no. 10) $4 TAB Fixed Odds – Click here to bet on this horse now
This guy was other-worldly at Melton last start when forced to cover a stack of extra ground over the last mile and after hitting the lead on the turn he was only pipped on the post by Cut For An Ace who had a cheap run behind the leader. He isn’t a massive fan of the standing start but with a safe beginning and a similar effort to last time he will shake the life out of this.
STAR TRIALLER
Thunder Fee (Race 1 no. 10) $3
Talented filly who resumes from a break tonight off the back of a Shepparton trial success 8 days ago where she finished off in 57.6 and although she draws poorly over the sprint trip first up her class will take her a long way towards winning this.
BLACK BOOKER – Kilmore Last Night
Centonic
Produced his customary turn of foot from near last on the turn to run a slashing third to American Muscle in a race that wasn’t run to suit him and this talented sit-sprinter is sure to be winning again soon going on that eye-catching performance last night.
