In my opinion Goodtime Slater (Race 2 no. 10) $1.20, Big Mumma Fitz (Race 6 no. 6) $1.30 and Goodtime Mike (Race 8 no. 11) $1.40 should all be much too good in their respective races and with the all up looking like returning $2 for every $1 you invest it looks a relatively easy way to double you money.  I’m going to take it for $150, which along with the below trifectas and Quaddie will take my total outlay for the day to $500.

Race 2

Goodtime Slater will be much too good for this lot but there isn’t much between the other runners fighting it out for second and third so I’m going to play a wide trifecta and hope for a roughie or two to sneak into the placings.

10/ 2,6,7,9,11/ 2,4,6,7,8,9,11,12.  $50 gets you 142.85%

Race 3

Terror Toupee, Arr En Special and Clipper look the only winning chances here and should dominate with Life Is A Pleasure, Smokin Fields and Forced Out fighting it out for third spot so I’m going to base my trifecta around those runners.

3,4,12/ 3,4,12/ 1,3,4,10,11,12.  $50 gets you 208.33%

Race 4

Alta Antonio is the testing material here and he shouldn’t miss the top two so I’m going to play some trifectas around him with Rosharni, Vesper Lynd and Babes Boy Bob as the main threats and Lucys Pride, Igetaround, Lifes A Bonus and Heavyweight thrown onto the third line.

5/ 1,2,10/ 1,2,4,6,7,8,10.  $35 gets you 194.44%

1,2,10/ 5/ 1,2,4,6,7,8,10.  $15 gets you 83.33%

Race 5

I’m keen on Weallwantano here to get the cash but Gosh Heza Rebel, Bobby Maravu and The Unionist are in with a shot at knocking him off so I’m going to take one trifecta standing him out with the above mentioned runners plus Hector Barbossa and Whata Finale and another with him to be rolled just in case.

7/ 1,3,9,10,11/ 1,3,9,10,11.  $35 gets you 175%

9,10,11/ 7/ 1,3,9,10,11.  $15 gets you 125%

Race 6

Big Mumma Fitz should be too strong for her rivals with Chick At The Bar the one to base trifectas around as she draws to be prominent throughout with Ruby My Love, Blissfull Spanker, Stuck Up and Powerbolt the other key place chances.

Did a big job to run second behind Primo Tapia where she was forced to sit three-deep without cover the whole way before going down narrowly at the end of a 28.8 final quarter.  She has been improving with each run this campaign and looks ready to win again on her terrific effort last night.
