Good Form Preview - Warrnambool @ Terang

The Game Plan for Warrnambool @ Terang – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)

All-Up

There is no decent-value Best Bet as such today so I’m going to pick some low hanging fruit by having an all-up with three very short-priced favourites as outlined below.

Inky Cullen (Race 1 no. 8) $1.30
Big Mumma Fitz (Race 4 no. 5) $1.50
Harryoh (Race 6 no. 10) $1.20

If everything goes to plan you should get around $2.30 for every $1 invested.

Best Quinellas

Amajorfrost (Race 1 no. 2) & Inky Cullen (Race 2 no. 8)
Inky Cullen (8) will only need ordinary luck to hunt down and run past likely leader Amajorfrost (2) here but the Quinella is probably better value than the Exacta - if you’re looking for a bigger result play around both of these runners with a few others in Trifectas & First Fours.

Arr En Special (Race 5 no. 3) & Clipper (Race 5 no. 10)
This is a much riskier bet but with greater risk comes greater reward. The philosophy here is that these two are both reasonably genuine and just a bit better than their rivals so once again you can either take the Quinella/ Exacta or couple these two with a few others in wider exotic wagers.

Quaddies (x2)

5/ 3,10/ 10/ 2,6. $60 gets 1500%
5/ 3,10/ 10/ 1,5,7 $40 gets 666.67%.

Star Trialler

Game Deliver (Race 3 no. 7) $2.60
This David Lewis-trained debutante defeated one of his main rivals today in Blucolla Moon (12) by 15m at this course on February 24. Lewis is a very astute mentor and on the back of that preliminary, he should prove tough to beat today.

Sokys Bigbullet (Wangaratta Yesterday)
This Bruce Harpley-trained and driven 3YO defied a serious on-pace bias to claim a George Croxford Tribute heat at Wangaratta yesterday. That was his second brilliant performance in succession and he’ll be tough to beat in the final of this series if his form holds up. Click here to view the run.
