Our Call Of Duty, Beau Dandy and Ashira Bromac look better than their rivals and are a great chance of filling the trifecta so I’m going to box them up for a decent percentage and also take another one with a few other runners on the third line just in case things don’t go to plan.  Below is how I’m spending $100.

Race 7

Hall Of Famer, Five Star Anvil and Veranjee look the only ones capable of taking out this year’s Cup so I’m going to box the trio in a trifecta and hope things go to plan plus take another one with Composed and Because I Can on the third line just in case.  Below is how I’m spending $100.

Race 8

Charli Springfield and Courageousnquick both drop a mile in grade and they really should fight out the finish with Our Bally Beauty, Viva Courage and Acesneights battling it out for third spot so I’m going to play with them in a trifecta for $100 total spend.

Was terrific in defeat behind the smart Must Be Nice at Kilmore last start where he chased hard in a slippery half of 57.2 and this promising type looks the yardstick in a competitive affair.

STAR TRIALLERS

Five Star Anvil (Race 7 no. 5) $2.20

Chasing the hat trick tonight after scoring at both of his Aussie runs for Adam Kelly in Tassie back in late January/early February and he has since won a Melton trial in fine style where he dashed home in 55.4.  He leaves the mobile swiftly, is a big chance of speeding to the lead here and if that scenario unfolds he will take plenty of running down.
