Good Form Preview - Thursday at the 'Borough

THE GAME PLAN for Maryborough – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)

The Money Races

Race 4
The Good Times will be much too good here with Bel Vu Ayesha a clear second pick and the Devils Queen, Your Invited and Slippinalong the other key place chances so I’m going to play the below trifectas for a total spend of $200.

6/ 4/ 1,9,10.  $50 gets you 1666.66%
6/ 1,9,10/ 4.  $30 gets you 1000%
6/ 1,4,9,10/ 1,4,9,10.  $120 gets you 1000%

Race 8
Shakti Bromac has looked good winning 2 of his 3 outings and is the one to beat in this but I don’t think he is past the post with Glenferrie College and Hes Kinky in with a shot at knocking him off so I’m going to play the below trifectas; one with him to get the cash and another with him to get rolled.  I’m throwing $200 at this race as well.

10/ 7,11/ 7,11.  $150 gets you 7500%
7,11/ 10/ 7,11.  $50 gets you 2500%

Quaddies x4 $100 outlay
6/ 3,4,5,7/ 5/ 2.  $30 gets you 750%
6/ 3,4,5,7/ 4,6,11,13/ 2.  $32 gets you 200%
6/ 3,4,5,7/ 5/ 3,5,9.  $24 gets you 200%
6/ 3,4,5,7/ 4,6,11,13/ 3,5,9.  $14 gets you 29.16%

STAR TRIALLERS

Aleppo Tiger (Race 3 no. 2) $4.50
Michelle Eastman-trained son of Armbro Operative on debut today who has had an extensive trial campaign on this circuit in the past few months with victories at his past three appearances at the Sunday workouts.  Hayes And Kydd will take holding out but this guy has the barrier draw advantage and is in with a chance at causing a minor boilover first up.

The Unionist (Race 5 no. 3) $3.50
Finished down the track behind Magical Telf in a heat of the Tontine at Terang first up from a break but he has since run second to smart mare The Good Times (Kurahaupo Quin ran third and has since won at Charlton) in a Geelong trial and from the advantageous draw with the early lead his for sure he should take beating second up.
