This guy resumed from a break at Kilmore 9 days ago where he enjoyed a nice run off the pace before rallying strongly in the straight to get the better of Satisfied Grin to bring up win number 5 in a PB of 1:58.5 for the short course.  He will be fitter, looks perfectly placed with the claim for Zac Phillips, should do enough to hold the lead from the pole draw and is sure to take a power of beating thereafter.

I’ve been following this bloke for a while now and he is not far off breaking through for a well-deserved win.  He has been drawing poorly of late and working home strongly in fast sectionals but today he finally gets a decent gate, will get the opportunity to race closer to the speed and I’m having a good go at him each way on a 1 x 3 basis.

Has been freshened up since finishing third to Tendaho in a heat of the Central Victorian Trotting Championship a month ago at Maryborough first up from a spell and has since trialled stylishly at Melton from behind the strands where he won by a space and ripped home in 28.1.  He is a classy conveyance and although costly first up he can make amends today.
