Good Form Preview - Sunday Session at Bendigo

THE GAME PLAN for Bendigo – with Michael Polster (@mickpolster)

Play of the Day

Race 6
This race looks a great one to attack as Ponder In Paris should have little trouble holding the front from the pole draw and looks an absolute moral with Know One getting the lovely sit on her back from the trailing draw and I think they look a great base for trifectas.  I’m throwing $200 at the below bets.

1/ 8/ 2,3,4,5,9,10.  $100 gets you $120 gets you 2000%
1/ 2,3,4,5,9,10/ 8.  $100 gets you $80 gets you 1333.33%

Quaddies x2 $100 outlay
3,6,7,9,11/ 3,5,7,10,11/ 1/ 2.  $37.50 gets you 150%
3,6,7,9,11/ 3,5,7,10,11/ 1/ 6,7,9,11.  $62.50 gets you 62.5%

STAR TRIALLERS

Our Bally Beauty (Race 3 no. 5) $5
Has run handy races behind Dobop and Modern Velocity at her two goes this time in and she was tuned up for this with a solid Cobram trial win last week so expect her to be threat with the right luck in running from the wide gate.

Grace Artois (Race 3 no. 9) $4
Resumed from a break with an all-the-way success at Canberra earlier this month and she has since won a Leeton trial in fine style to keep her ticking over so from the nice trailing draw she is sure to be a major player in what is an open race for the mares.

Broadway Classic (Race 5 no. 7) $2.70
First up for Andy Gath today and he looks ready to run a race after trialling well at Melton and Geelong in the past few weeks.  The draw isn’t ideal and he will need a bit to go his way but he looks to have more talent than his rivals and should be hard to hold out.

Hermione (Race 7 no. 2) $2.50
Struggled to recapture her best form this season and was beaten a long way at Melton last time behind National Service, but obviously everything was not right with her that night and she has since won a trial on this circuit in fine style so expect a more competitive performance from her today.

BLACK BOOKERS – Geelong Last Night

Classic Bliss - Click here to watch her run
Set a cracking pace in the lead and was just pipped on the post by La Machane at the end of a 1:54.6 mile, which is not far outside the track record so she is obviously airborne at present and be sure to have something on her whenever she steps out next.

Was forced to do a stack of work in the early stages to find the breeze and after hitting the front on the turn she was just nabbed on the stick by Royal Witness who had the cold sit on her back.  She will take on some smart ones in the Tontine Final next up but is a genuine winning chance.
