This bet is a little bit out there but if it comes off we may get a pretty big result. Despite the difficult nature of tonight’s card I’ve found five horse I’m reasonably keen on and rather than back them all individually I’m going to bank on at least three of them getting the prize in a Formula 3 which will cost me $50 for 5 complete units.

Sarum Knight (Race 1 no. 2) $3

Ideally suited back to the front line draw and should shoot for an all-the-way win.

Forever Arma (Race 2 no. 1) $2

Somewhat unreliable but the best horse engaged when he’s right and worth a wager from the draw.

Magical Molly (Race 4 no. 2) $2.80

On fire before an inconclusive effort last start and beautifully placed from the favourable alley.

Our Crime Of Passion (Race 7 no. 10) $3

Electric sit-sprinter who should be suited by hectic early speed likely tonight.

Doey Doeback (Race 8 no. 5)

Crying out to break through and gets conditions to suit in the evening’s final race.

The Money Race – Race 8

This looks an old fashioned two-horse race, with Doey Doeback (5) & Lavish Art (7) looking too good for their rivals and Crazy Dave (8) a clear third pick. With that in mind I’m having the below Trifectas and expecting a result.

This bloke didn’t do a lot in the Shakamaker Classic on debut but he has tuned up for his return w/ two handy trial wins at Kilmore and Geelong and may add some value to multiples and Quads at Beckley Park tonight.
