Good Form Preview - Saturday night @ Lords Raceway

The Game Plan for Bendigo - with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)

Tonight's Bendigo programme is very much split in two. The first seven races are quality events where we can make some serious folding but the last four races are very tough to read so we'll be hoping to make our cash by the end of the Quaddie before re-investing our profits for fun or just heading out for a quiet night on the tiles! In all I've found three near-morals, one Best Value, Money Races & some Quads so let's get into this pretty juicy card.

Best Bets/ All-Up ($50 All-up)

All of these runners should start in red figures but I'm hoping a $50 investment will return us more than $150.

Gollahman (Race 2 no. 5) $1.40

This bloke has caught the eye in much better races than this of recent times and should win for fun if he's anywhere near his best. There are some debutantes w/ potentially untapped ability engaged but they's want to be good to beat this guy tonight.

Te Amo Bromac (Race 3 no. 6) $1.70

This Kiwi invader meets a couple of handy locals tonight but her form in New Zealand has been exemplary and I'd be shocked if she wasn't a class abover her rivals here. Sandy Kay (1) is the major threat but I'm willing to stick w/ the Mark Purdon magic.

Zacharia (Race 4 no. 11) $1.80

He is another Mark Purdon-trained commodity that looked awesome winning a Vicbred Super Series heat before locking wheels and losing all hope at that series' semi-final phase. He should also outclass his rivals w/ ordinary luck in transit.

Best Value ($25 Each Way)

Run Ripalong (Race 7 no. 1) $3.50

This bloke isn't the most reliable commodity in work but sometimes horses just find their right race and given this guy is an ambush artist by nature who draws to get the gun he loves in a race where there are question marks over many of his rivals, I think this bloke has found his race tonight.

The Money Races

Race 2

As mentioned above, Gollahman (5) looks near enough to home here and with limited place chances behind him I reckon we can play two trifectas and walk away w/ a pretty tidy profit.

5/ 2,4/ 2,4. $30 gets 1500%
5/ 2,4/ 3,9. $16 gets 400%
5/ 2,4/ 1,8. $4 gets 100%

Race 3

I'm going to play this race four ways but my primary thought is that Te Amo Bromac (6) will be winning while Sandy Kay (1) will be running a drum.

6/ 1/ 4. $25 gets 2500%
6/ 4/ 1. $10 gets 1000%
6/ 1/ 8. $10 gets 1000%
6/ 1/ 9. $5 gets 500%

Race 4

The key theory here is that there are limited chances to even run a drum and Zacharia (11) shoudl win with any luck at all. Play the following Trifectas and you shouldn't go far wrong.

11/ 5,10,12/ 5,10,12. $30 gets 500%
11/ 5,10,12/ 7,8,9. $9 gets 100%
5,10,12/ 11/ 5,10,12. $11 gets 183.33%

Quaddies (x3)

The theory behinf these three Quads is that two of my top tip, including Zacharia, must win for us to walk away w/ the money.

11/ 10/ 2,4,6,7,8,9,10/ 1,3,5,6,7,9,10,12. $35 gets 62.5%
11/ 3,5,6,7,10,11,12/ 10/ 1,3,5,6,7,9,10,12. $35 gets 62.5%
11/ 3,5,6,7,10,11,12/ 2,4,6,7,8,9,10/ 1. $30 gets 61.2%

Star Trialler (Racing Tonight)

Bronco Apache (Race 11 no. 4) $3.30

This gelding finds himself in the weakest of possible races having been narrowly beaten  (2m) by Braodway Playboy in a recent Bendigo triall where they finished off in 58.7secs. That's incredible form for a race of this nature so he should go very close for sure.
