There are only two races I really want to play in tonight and they both come toward the end of the programme. I’m going to throw the kitchen sink at both races and have a Quad so things will either turn out very well or pretty badly!
The Running Double
You can play this as an all-up or running double or both but I reckon I’ve found the winners of races six & seven tonight. In Race 6, My Hard Copy (10) should be a class above them. Brilliant in his Aussie debut he meets an easier field here then he did there and it would be a big shock if he didn’t get the prize. In Race 7, Chanels Charm (2) has also just found his race. A dynamite beginner on his day he should cross to the top and lead his rivals a merry dance here. Madam Pom Pom (6) has more natural talent but she just isn’t going well enough to threaten here with her major danger highballing in the lead.
The Trifectas
Race 6
Sporty Mac (3) is an excellent beginner and should find the front without spending too much petrol. Lance Justice may want to hold that position given this is a mile race but with favourite My Hard Copy (10) following him through I think he’ll hand up and I’m playing my Trifectas in the hope that he does.

Race 7
While Race 6 is very skinny on chances to even run a drum, this race is wide open outside our top selection. As mentioned, Madam Pom Pom (6) is probably best placed to test Chanels Charm (2) but if she doesn’t roll him she’s no guarantee of even filling a hole while Kriptonik (1) should get the gun run and looks a much better place proposition.

This guy has really picked up his form of late and comes off a gallant second to Cyrus at Geelong 8 days ago where he led from the extreme alley and was just collared on the stick. He should get the lead once more tonight and with a lack of any real pressure in the race he will take plenty of running down.
Best First Fours
Race 2
I really like the way Major Calipso is going at the moment and he looks the one to beat with Easy Lightning and Luke Hobbs his main dangers so I’m taking the below first fours around that trio with $100 total spend.
