The Game Plan for
Bendigo – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Best Bet
Im Noddy (Race 7 no.
9) $5
This guy is part of a Tim Butt team which has jumped out of
the ground in recent weeks since their switch to Victoria. He came here with an
ordinary reputation but has probably shocked the gun Kiwi trainer by running a
massive track record second behind Pembrook Caesar at Yarra Valley three back
and easily smashing his opposition last time out. There looks to be good early
speed here and I’m expecting him to peel three wide from the 600m mark and hunt
his rivals down on the line.
Best Value
Advance To Go (Race 7
no. 4) $11
I have already outlined that I am keen on Im Noddy here but this guy can also
figure if he’s able to get across polemarker Tombstone Eden in the early stages. That is a big if, but at
genuine each way odds he’s worth something a win and three times as much the
place.
Best Roughie
Duel Agent Tabman
(Race 5 no. 2) $21
I’ll be pretty excited if this guy actually starts at the
$21 he’s quoted at in today’s Herald Sun. Put simply, this is stand start affair
where most runners have questions over their manners from the strands while
this guy just loves the caper. A two-time placegetter at Country Cup level this
campaign he is beautifully placed at this level and should certainly be backed
ion a n each way basis at double figure odds.
Quaddies (x2)
7/ 1,2,3,5,8/ 1,5,6,8,10,11/ 1,4,9. $45 gets 50%.
2,3,10/ 1,2,3,5,8/ 1,5,6,8,10,11/ 1,4,9. $55 gets 22.92%.
Black Booker (Horsham Yesterday)
Paintball
She is an underrated mare from the Lisa Miles barn that ran
an enormous race when working to the breeze outside Barkers Hall and beating
all but the late closing Conflict of interest in track record time. She is
versatile and talented an dcan move through her classes pretty quickly if all
things go to plan. Click here to view the run.
