This guy broke through for his first win of this preparation in a heat of this final at Maryborough, in what appeared to be the strongest of the heats. He will need to bring his best from his second row draw tonight but he looks classes above his rivals and will be very hard to beat.

(Race 7 No.4 Im Corzin Terror) $3.60

This guy has been game in defeat at his past three outings where things haven’t really been run to suit and he hasn’t had much luck in transit. He was the best of the closers in the strong Horsham Cup last start where they went through the first half in moderate time and made it very hard to make ground and he did incur some interference at a critical. He draws the front line tonight and looks well placed.

This guy fired straight to the lead at Shepparton two runs back and never gave his rivals a look in when scoring in dominant fashion in quick time. Last start he couldn’t quite pick up Metro Mike last after sustaining a wide run over the last lap. I think he can work up and find the breeze mid race after what the dust settles on what will probably a quickly run first part of the race.
