Keayang Starzzz (Race 4 no. 5) $1.70

This bloke lived in the shadow of some outstanding youngsters through his two and three-year-old terms but that has just meant he’s flown under the radar through what has been a top 4YO campaign to date. He steps up again here but he should lead this lot with ease and that should be all that she wrote.

The Fat Man (Race 5 no. 2) $1.90

I’ve had a big opinion of this bloke right from the very start and while he stumbled at the top level last time in, he resumes here off the back of two brilliant trial efforts and should prove a class above some talented but not top flight 3YO adversaries.

Keayang Steamer (Race 7 no. 11) $2

There’s a cavalcade of evidence to suggest that this bloke’s stablemate Keayang Cullen (7) will be hugely advantaged by the front line draw in this PBD affair but I just think the above pacer is one right out of the bag who should work to find the breeze and prove a shade too tough when it matters in the lane.

The Exotic Speed Map Special – Race 4 ($50 Flexi Trifectas)

The plan here – should it pan out – is for Thisiswhoiam (4) to work across and find the pegs before quickly handing over to the favourite Keayang Starzzz (5). If that scenario plays out then Keayang Starzzz (5) should cruise home to win and Thisiswhoiam (4) should surely join him on the dais.

The Money Race – Race 7 ($100 Flexi Trifectas)

As mentioned above, I’m super keen on Keayang Steamer (11) here and there’s little doubt his greatest threat will come from stablemate Keayang Cullen (7). It will be some shock if that pair don’t fight out the finish with comeback kid Villagem (5) and old warrior Melpark Major (9) the other class commodities.

(Race 3 No.3 Thanesan) $1.80

This guy was placed recently behind having placed behind the states inform trotter in My High Expectations in the Cobram Trotters Cup a few runs back. He began well and found the lead here last week against some handy opposition and he was much too good. He doesn’t have to lead to win but if he does happen to cross at the start it’s hard to see him getting beaten if he repeats his last start performance.

(Race 4 No.5 Keayang Starzz) $1.70

This guys win two runs back at Horsham on Cup day was enormous, he was wide and did a stack of work to find the spot outside the leader, then really responded like a good horse when asked to find in the lane and was too good for his rivals. He shot straight to the front against a moderate field last start and was much too good as a short priced favourite. He meets a few handy types here but I expect him to press forward and work to the lead tonight and be winning again.
