First of all, it’s sensational to be back!! After four weeks of solid R & R the mind is refreshed and I’m more pumped than ever to find winners for all Good Form followers starting with today’s very interesting eight race card @ Cobram. Essentially, it’s a favourite’s day likely to be dominated by class runners so I’m attacking a monster Formula 4 combing 5 popular elects while also targeting one Money Race and some Quads as per usual.

Best Bets/ Formula 4 ($100 gets 20 units)

Magic Moment Lombo (Race 1 no. 1) $1.50

Talented mare capable of pretty big things who will be classes above her rivals here if her form of last preparation and excellent recent trial form hold up in this.

Maharaja Lombo (Race 2 no. 5) $2.70

This guy has also been trialling pretty well and with Chris Alford in the cart he should spear to the lead and prove awfully difficult to catch.

Tezz Khora (Race 4 no. 10) $1.70

Fourth home in last term’s VSS decider for juvenile boys, this bloke was trialling the house down before a solid first-up win. The draw will present challenges but he’s the class runner of the race by some margin.

Well To Do Lombo (Race 5 no. 5) $1.75

This bloke has ripped through a C0 series at Leeton to kick off his latest prep and it would be some shock if he didn’t rocket to the lead here and control things from the top end.

The Court Jester (Race 6 no. 8) $1.80

The fact this bloke was backed to claim the VHRSC Vic Sires Classic at his most recent start is a strong measure of his talent and while the draw is deplorable, he should jag back early, circle his rivals and prove a shade to strong in this.

The Money Race – Race 1 ($50 Flexi Trifecta)

Magic Moment Lombo (1) will only have to get around safely in this to win and from where I stand, the draws have almost ensured that only three of her rivals will battle out the minor placings today.

This guy has shown a liking for this track with a win and a second from two starts here. He resumes here on the back of some solid trials and from his front row draw he should go forward and either lead or the sit outside the leader. This race is much weaker than some of the races he contested last start and he looks well placed in a weak field.
