Hump Day Good Form - Plus Melton Sectionals

THE GAME PLAN for Shepparton – with Michael Polster

Best Bet

Freemason (Race 5 no. 7)
This bloke is flying at present and is aiming up for the hat trick of victories after scoring well at Ballarat (leading) and Melton (come from behind) at his past two. He draws widely but will either work to the lead or sit quietly in the breeze and should be too strong for his rivals.

Best Quinella

Mach Beauty and Born Again Sassy (Race 7 no’s 1 and 8)
Classic case of leader/behind leader with Mach Beauty in front and Born Again Sassy trailing and they should run 1,2.

TABCORP PARK SECTIONALS

A brand new feature of Good Form Wednesdays will be a PDF link to sectional times for EVERY horse in EVERY race from Friday night's Tabcorp Park card.

BLACK BOOKERS – (Racing Tonight)

Border Patrol (Race 7 no. 6)
This guy drew awkwardly second up from a break at Echuca 13 days ago and after being buried on the markers he sprouted wings along the pegs to run second to Billy Branach in fast final fractions.
He will be nearing his peak now after two runs this time in and although the draw makes his task a difficult one tonight he is worthy of a place ticket at the very least. Click here to view his latest run.

BLACK BOOKERS – Ballarat Tuesday Night

Radical Impact
This bloke put in a cracking run behind Im Barney Rubble in Race 4 at Ballarat last night where he charged home from near last on the turn in blistering sectionals for a close-up fourth.
He is racing in career-best form at present and will be winning again very soon. Click here to view the run.

STAR TRIALLERS – (Racing Tonight)

Wolowitz (Race 2 no. 3)
Steve Boyington-prepared son of Four Starzzz Shark on debut tonight who finished second to Nuggets Brother (winner first up) at his most recent trial at Shepparton.
He takes on handy types Quadentate and Judyfree but appears to have his share of talent and should run well at his first go at this caper. Click here to view his trial.

Charlotte Two (Race 4 no. 1)
Former Kiwi mare now under the care of Craig Turnbull who looked sharp winning a Kilmore trial 8 days ago where she finished off in 58.3/29.1 to beat handy types Just Live Life and Easy Lightning.
She draws ideally for her Aussie debut, strikes a winnable race and will be hotly fancied to get the cash first up.

PROGRAMME IN REVIEW

Not a bad night on the tip for HRV form expert Michael Polster at Ballarat last night with those following his selections rewarded with 3 of the 8 winners plus a juicy first four in Race 8 which netted his faithful $285.30 for a $30 investment.
Good Form followers were also in the money with his suggested trifecta in Race 4 returning $87.90 and ‘Best Quinella’ saluting in the last for a return of $2.40.
