Good Form Preview - Bray Raceway

THE GAME PLAN for Ballarat – with Michael Polster

Best All-up

Quinella:  Race 4 no’s 4 Classievale and 6 Im Barney Rubble
This is clearly the highlight of the night with the clash between these two outstanding 5YO’s sure to excite.  Im Barney Rubble looks like spearing to the lead with Classievale coming with one big sprint late and they should run the Quinella.

Quinella:  Race 6 no’s 1 Keayang Falcon and 5 Highview Ebony
This pair fought out the finish at Melton last time with Keayang Falcon just doing a bit the better in a slippery last quarter after having the cold sit on Highview Ebony. This race is no harder and with the likelihood of them occupying the exact same positions as last start history looks like being repeated.

Should get around $2.00 - $2.20 back for every $1 you invest.

STAR TRIALLERS – (Racing Tonight)

Jilliby Tarzan (Race 2 no. 2)
4YO son of Artsplace on debut for Margaret Lee who won a trial comfortably at Terang 9 days ago where he slipped home in 59.1. He doesn’t strike an overly strong race and from the nice draw he looks set to run a big race first up.

Spiceman (Race 3 no. 6)
Got into trouble here two weeks ago at his first start but has since won two trials at Maryborough from behind the mobile in fine style. He has obvious talent and would only need to go around safely tonight to be a force to be reckoned with.

Classievale (Race 4 no. 4)
Resumes from a 6-month break off the back of trial wins at Melton and Geelong in recent weeks where he has dashed home in snappy sectionals. He takes on the smart Im Barney Rubble first up but he is a classy conveyance himself and will take holding out fresh.

BLACK BOOKERS – (Horsham Yesterday)

Forest Fury
Let rip at the 600m with a big sprint and was hailed the winner half way up the straight before being bloused by Chief Destroyer, who looks a handy horse. That was his best effort to date and this well-bred type will be winning a similar class race in the not too distant future. Click here to view the run.

Endorsement
Was looking for runs everywhere in the stretch but never got a clear crack at them to go to the line jogging behind Bohemian Lombo. He is no star but will get his chance to breakthrough in a suitable race before too long. Click here to view the run.

Waterslide
Handy sit-sprint mare who enjoyed a soft trip behind the leader and went to the post full of running when fourth to Extricate after being badly held up for a run. She would have won for sure with a clear passage and can be followed with confidence if she draws to advantage next time. Click here to view the run.
