The Game Plan for Cranbourne – with Jason Bonnington (@jasonbonnington)
Best Bet ($40 Win)
Rock On Tiger (Race 8 no 2) $2.50
This
is an incredibly weak race and incredibly weak races are not usually
the best for declaring Best Bets but on his form in much stronger races
than this through
the middle of last year I just think this bloke should be far too good.
Best Value ($20 Each Way)
Evil Trickster (Race 7 no. 1) $7.50
This
guy always runs his best races when able to lead and while he’s not the
best horse engaged I think he will hold the top and prove pretty hard
to mow down at the
handy quote.
The Money Race – Race 4
I love this race. Put simply, Call Me Bond (5) and Mcniven (6) are
both high quality local 3YO’s who have the potential to be metropolitan
grade pacers
later in their careers. All things being equal they’ll fight this race
out but it’s tough to split them so I’m coupling them up in a Trifecta
& First Four.
